Compulsory subjects?
[edit]There is a list of compulsory subjects here for 5-16 for each key stage, which implies everyone must do them. There's no compulsion to do Music GCSE, though? Nor a foreign language? The whole section could do with a rewrite to make it more readable. Beyondheat (talk) 21:27, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
Early Comprehensive Schools
[edit]Withernsea High School in the East Riding of Yorkshire has been comprehensive since 1946 making it one of the first in England. Below is link to excerpt from 1970 BBC2 "Man Alive" programme:
