I am confused as to how the fact that she drove a Lincoln Continental and a Ford Thunderbird, could be relevant in an article about a person in the acting arts. A significant portion of the article reads like your average Hollywood gossip magazine.

External links
[edit]- I removed three entries from the "External links" that contribute to link farming:
- {{TCMDb name}} template missing ID and not present in Wikidata.
- {{Amg name|14003}}
- Claudette Colbert at Virtual History
- Please feel free to incorporate any possible into the article or join a discussion if wishing to add any back. Otr500 (talk) 22:56, 13 August 2019 (UTC)
Sentence in the The early films, 1928-1934 section makes no sense.
[edit]The next to last sentence in this section makes no sense. The sentence reads "Her character to "hold man" (Chevalier again) might surpassed co-star Miriam Hopkins, according to an analyst." There is a footnote reference for this sentence, but I can not help thinking that the sentence is not quoted correctly from that source. Can anyone help? 204.122.26.61 (talk) 00:47, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
Pronounciation
[edit]The IPA pronounciation given, /koʊlˈbɛər/, is different from the American "kohl-BAIR" without any indication of why this is so. 2A02:AA1:1648:1F73:B50A:857C:6E7F:8B79 (talk) 10:24, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
Another sentence that makes no sense
[edit]"During the filming of Tovarich (1937), director Anatole Litvak favored co-starring Charles Boyer over her in the camera angles, so she got very frustrated the boorish arrogance and be perem ptory." - what does the part after the last comma mean? 195.213.70.0 (talk) 23:22, 18 August 2024 (UTC)
