I took the following section out of the article. It has a number of flaws, but might the basis for a properly [{WP:V|sourced]] addition:

Chwalfa is the name of a drama filmed by the BBC during the early 60s.Most of the extras in it where people who lived in the Carneddi area of Bethesda where there was a slate quarry up until the 1970s;this quarry was not owned by the Pennant family, who owned the nearby Penrhyn quarry, but by a company that employed many men who were out on strike during the great penrhyn strike of 1900.
