Writing location

[edit]

Reading from an edition republished in 2002, the preface (not written by Nitobe) states that he wrote the book while residing in California, although his usual residence was in Pennsylvania. @Kaecyy: what edition were you reading, and on which page does it state where the book was written? ミーラー強斗武 (StG88ぬ会話) 00:59, 16 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Sturmgewehr88 and StG88ぬ会話: To answer your question— the copy I read is the one on Project Gutenberg, accessed in 2011, and the introduction or preface with the date and location of Malvern, Pennsylvania were by the author, Nitobe. It is possible, however, that he only wrote the intro or preface in Pennsylvania, and all or most of the rest in California or elsewhere. Kaecyy (talk) 01:42, 16 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
