[edit]Please note that I have not assessed the above due to my lack of familiarity with geographic project requirements and ignorance of English topography.Georgejdorner (talk) 03:36, 13 April 2021 (UTC)
Suggested improvements to a well-done B class article
[edit]1) Link the American squadrons.
2) Check the linked squadrons for any flying aces or other notable persons.
Congratulations on a great article. I've been reading/writing about WWI aviation for years, and had never heard of Arab pilots in the RAF. If they were from the Ottoman Empire, they must have been turncoats. There's probably a heck of a story behind them.Georgejdorner (talk) 03:42, 13 April 2021 (UTC)
- Georgejdorner Thanks for the review. Unfortunately, any possible notable personnel on the Aero Squadrons are either non-wikinotable, or their details about their service life do not include any mention of Bramham, Bramham Moor, or Tadcaster. The Arab pilots piece is supported by only one, albeit reliable, reference. The only other way to cross-check would be to consult the PRO at Kew, but the pandemic was against me on that, and I would need a secondary source. Anything I found out for myself would have been WP:OR. So there may not be too much mileage in it. Thanks for the kind words and happy editing. Regards. - Well, I knew the recommendations were chancy, and so they did not work out. It's great you took the effort to follow up on them.Georgejdorner (talk) 16:22, 13 April 2021 (UTC)
