You don't say "It follows" without saying what something follows from
[edit]The section Quotients of the upper half plane — the first section after the two-sentence introduction -- begins as follows:
"It follows that the Riemann surface in question can be . . .."
This never states what "It follows" from. Which renders the statement, and hence the section, meaningless.
I hope that someone who is an expert on this theorem will correct and clarify what this section is trying so poorly to express.Daqu (talk) 01:37, 14 May 2014 (UTC)
- It follows from the theorem that this is the case, but agree that the wording is terrible, and much more should be written. 67.198.37.16 (talk) 23:57, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
