Blatant Advert for Guinness.

Well it's not easy to present an event being held over several continents by one company as completely encyclopedic and not an advertisement before it has even happened. What do you suggest? Perhaps some parts can be rephrased but I don't know which? It wouldn't make sense to remove all reference to Guinness. It is also unbalanced in favour of one city at the moment but I'm not sure where to find the information for the other four... --candlewicke 17:50, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Comments like that aren't really worth replying to, especially ones from users with such slack-jawed usernames. Bradley0110 (talk) 19:36, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the input Bradley. Personal insults are not worth replying to either, but I grant you an exception on this occasion. The concern other users will no doubt have about this reading like an advert for Guinness can easily be allayed by stating up front that the event is a promotional event for Guinness.Muthaf9cka (talk) 18:02, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Just ended

[edit]

The event has ended. Will somebody please replace the 'will's and 'has been' with 'was' as well as 'are expected to raise' with 'raised' —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.154.169.64 (talk) 15:36, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
