No princely titel?

Does anybody know why he did not become a prince (consort) when he married the princess? --Anthony Blunt (talk) 17:46, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Explanation needed for "no nobility" statement

Under "Marriage and Family", there's a statement, "since 1814, Norway has had no nobility and no concept of commoners, only citizens." They have royalty, obviously, which to me negates that statement. I placed a "citation needed" note, but what it really needs is a better explanation. In the meantime, it probably should just be struck-- it's not unheard of for someone to marry royalty and not become royalty themselves. Ghost writer's cat (talk) 03:11, 31 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
