Conservative?
[edit]The parliament website still lists him as an Independent - did he actually rejoin the Conservative whip? — sjorford++ 23:00, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
He is an independent, the Conservatives offered him the whip, but he refused their offer because it would be an admission of guilt when he was totally innocent and they unfairly removed it, instead of supporting him
Grammar
[edit]I'm trying to reproduce the last sentence in the first paragraph as a grammatically correct one but there's a constant edit conflict. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.184.98.185 (talk) 15:27, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
Working while on sick leave....
[edit]There's no mention in his article about him being employed while officially being on (paid) sick leave from the house of commons. Surely this should be mentioned?! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.24.233.173 (talk) 19:54, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
Leader of Greens??
[edit]"The Leader of London’s Green Party" the Greens do not have such a position. WHO was it who said this? Maybe their name can be included here. OR at least a proper source - as now it's rumour. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.113.96.60 (talk) 23:38, 29 December 2010 (UTC)
- It's now sourced as a claim made on AP's own website. This in a way removes the problem of the allegedly non-existent Green position, since we are now simply reporting verbatim what Pelling says. With more research it might be possible to source the original statement, but I wouldn't hold your breath, and this is not bad for now. Hope this helps, best wishes, DBaK (talk) 00:40, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
