Oloye Akin Alabi → ? – The subject, Akinola Alabi, is more commonly known by his full name rather than 'Oloye Akin Alabi.' 'Oloye' is an honorific title often used in Yoruba culture to signify a distinguished position or title. See [1] it is not the name by which the subject is primarily recognized in most public and professional contexts. In major news outlets, professional profiles, and official documents, the full name 'Akinola Alabi' is predominantly used. For example, in various media reports and his official biography, his full name is consistently referred to, and it is the name most widely recognized in connection with his career and public service. The use of the full name also aligns with modern naming conventions and ensures clarity for readers seeking accurate information. A quick google search would show that all major publications on him dosent reflect oloye, but rather, his full name Cameremote (talk) 16:15, 28 December 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. Safari ScribeEdits! - Support, if nothing else that the honorific title must be removed at least, we don't use those in ATs. Though there does appear to be sufficient sources given for Akinola Alabi. —Bobby Cohn (talk) 16:32, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
- Move to Akin Alabi – seems to be the name used in almost all sources in the actual article. Skarmory (talk • contribs) 22:27, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
- Moved to Akinola Alabi - I went ahead and moved the page because it’s clear that "Akinola Alabi" is the name most commonly used in sources, media, and public profiles, while the honorific title "Oloye" is rarely included. This move ensures clarity and accuracy, as the full name is how the subject is widely recognized. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cameremote (talk • contribs) 22:45, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- Move reverted as out of process (after discussion at closer-proposer's talk page). Skarmory (talk • contribs) 00:26, 6 January 2025 (UTC)
