Afrobasket?

[edit]

It seems FIBA is now calling this tourney "Afrobasket"... --Howard the Duck 06:11, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It is like in Europe, where they call it EuroBasketCalapez 13:38, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
But they started calling it Afrobasket this year. --Howard the Duck 09:10, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

– As per the discussion above (six years ago!), FIBA started calling this tournament as "AfroBasket". FWIW, most sources are calling the 2015 tournament as "AfroBasket 2015" instead of "2015 FIBA Africa Championship" --Relisted.
