The Arabic script in citation 58 seems to link to a sex site. 130.58.65.10 (talk) 15:37, 9 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Did it end?

[edit]

Did it actually end? When? How? (July 8, 2011) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 187.20.115.192 (talk) 21:04, 10 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion

[edit]

I agree of the Deletion. All the information in this article is copied from http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/2010%E2%80%932011_Arab_world_protests#Oman. No Need for a new page of the Omani protests. GM25LIVE (talk) 12:31, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree to the deletion too! --PranavJ 15:30, 23 February 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pranav21391 (talkcontribs)

Agreed. —Nightstallion 23:36, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed Delusion23 (talk) 16:37, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"Only less than 0.1% of the Omanis participate in this protest, plus, there were no strike actions and riots". If this is a reason to delete the article then the article "2011 Sudanese protests" should be deleted as well (only 2 protests there by 200 and 500 people...) Personally I would like both articles to stay for now, since things can change dramatically at every moment — Preceding unsigned comment added by Johnymanos arc (talkcontribs) 19:54, 25 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It'd be easier just to redirect this to the section of the main article. 65.93.15.125 (talk) 05:35, 26 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Protests have escalated today, looks like somethign happening...Lihaas (talk) 13:38, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
DISAGREE I disagree quite strongly. So long as the situation continues this article is a good contribution to Wikinews. Once things have quietened down by all means incorporate it in the main Omani article but not yet. Furthermore the article, confused though it is, is a good summary of situation.

Removal of unelected sultan line

[edit]

What exactly does " unelected sultan" even mean ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.103.222.103 (talk) 11:10, 2 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Images?

Where did all the images go? - ArnoldPlaton (talk) 18:47, 11 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Muscat daily - WP:RS?

[edit]

Is Muscat Daily a WP:RS? Because the edit for April seems like POV (dragon gang?)- ArnoldPlaton (talk) 18:47, 11 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This not supposed to be a newspaper.

[edit]

The text says something will be discussed "next Tuesday." Huh? 211.225.30.91 (talk) 08:15, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, it is one year on. What happened "Next Tuesday"? Either delete the line or update it. Fgc2012 —Preceding undated comment added 13:32, 15 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
