Yosef Safra, (Hebrew יוסף ספרא ) born in 1967 as Yosef Pereyra in Pretoria, South Africa. The son of a Sephardic Jewish mother of Spanish origin.
He adopted the name Yosef Safra in honor of his ancestors. As a young man, he was recruited into the Israeli secret services as a specialist in infiltration and sabotage operations. He took part in intelligence operations in Africa, Central and South America[1] and Europe.
He was also an advisor to Brazilian Monegasque billionaire and philanthropist Mrs. Lily Safra.
In Argentina, he advised the Elliot Associates Fund. In Angola, he advised Angolan President José Eduardo dos Santos in 2002 and in 2019 he advised him in Barcelona, Spain.
He has also assisted on political matters in Angola[2]
He collaborates with diplomat Obrad Kesik, from the Republic of Srpska, on Balkan politics[3]
He took part in an interview for rne audio[4] to talk about one of Mossad's most secret units in December 2023. He also appeared on this radio station to debunk some of the myths about Mossad .[5]
