This page contains the list of medal statistics and individual records from World Armwrestling Championships held by World Armwrestling Federation. All numbers are calculated based on the official results from World Armwrestling Federation.[1][2][3] [4][5][6][7][8][9][10], or from external armwrestling archive pages [11][12][13][14]
For comparison purposes, detailed list of medals for each athlete also contains medals from Europen Armwrestling Championships.[15][16][17][18]
Between 1998 and 2005, original WAF organisation split into two WAFs (World Armsport Federation and World Armwrestling Federation), so there were two organisations in parallel and medals from both are taken into consideration.[19]
In 2021, Georgian athletes did not participate in the World Championship due to disqualification of the Georgian federation.[20]
Since 2022, Russian and Belarusian athletes are not allowed to compete under Russian and Belarusian flag due to Russian invasion of Ukraine.[21]
