Submission declined on 19 November 2024 by Bobby Cohn (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of events). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia. The proposed article does not have sufficient content to require an article of its own, but it could be merged into the existing article at Wong Ka Kui. Since anyone can edit Wikipedia, you are welcome to add that information yourself. Thank you.

- Comment: A lot of extra fluff in here but this fails WP:NEVENT, see WP:NCRIME. Would be best to trim the excess and merge anything relevant to the biography article. Bobby Cohn (talk) 14:10, 19 November 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Molest the fast food restaurant cutout of Gigi Yim
[edit]On September 12, 2023, Leung Chun-Yin went to the fast food restaurant of Kwai Chung Plaza. He pointed at a cardboard cutout of singer Gigi Yim and hurled vulgar insults at it. Then, he began to kiss the cutout aggressively, pressing his head against Gigi's lips and private areas, inappropriately violating the cardboard figure of Gigi and demanded that everyone recognize him.
Subsequently, Leung Chun-Yin continued speaking to the camera, saying, "Remember me, I’m Bald Bob. I will always love causing trouble and I’m never afraid of it."
After that ,he suddenly pointed and shouted insults at a passing woman. However, the passerby was not intimidated, she retaliated against Leung Chun-Yin and even picked up a nearby chair for self-defense. The video quickly went viral online, with numerous netizens accusing Leung Chun-Yin of being perverted and disgusting ,some suggesting that he was seeking attention. Others were curious whether his actions were illegal.[2]

The case of Wong Ka Kui ’s grave being destroyed
[edit]The grave of Wong Ka-Kui, the member of the band Beyond, at the Chinese Permanent Cemetery in Tseung Kwan O was vandalized by Leung Chun-Yin and Yip Tsz To. A video of the destruction process was even posted online. After this news was exposed by "Oriental daily news" on May 19, 2024, the two were criticized.[4]
At 11 a.m. on May 19, 2024, Wong Ka-Kui's tombstone was crazily destroyed Leung Chun-Yin, while singing "Sky" by Beyond. He came up and kissed the porcelain and the knot above him, then abruptly splattered Coke over the tombstone. He made a sucking noise in the interim, then used an iron hammer to smash the porcelain image of Wong Ka-Kui's headstone. He then summoned the shadow of the person filming the destruction. Additionally, the video showed 15-year-old Bob kicking the tombstone porcelain with his foot and writing graffiti on it with a black ink.[5]
After undergoing the Superintendent's Discretion Scheme, “Bald Bob” admitted his mistakes and confessed that he committed the crime to try to be recognized and famous.[1]
Wong Ka Kui's brother, Wong Ka-Keung, criticized the incident on Facebook: "What kind of country is this, where morality has decayed to the point of travelling such a long distance to destroy someone else's cemetery?" Wong's comment made many mainland netizens dissatisfied and angry. They thought that Wong implied the criminal was from the mainland. Over a thousand unsatisfied people left negative comments on Wong’s Facebook page. In response to the unsatisfied people, Wong said “I don't need to specify where he is from, but I know he is Chinese. This is a social issue that the country needs to address.”[6]
Members of Beyond responded to the event. Paul Wong accepted media interviews and angrily criticized “Bald Bob.” He said that destroying the tomb of the deceased was a serious crime and should not be forgiven. The drummer Yip Sai Wing described the incident as appalling on social media platforms and said the two arrested people should be punished by law.[7]
Actor Gabriel Wong Yat Shan criticized “Bald Bob” and the 23-year-old accomplice, expressing his anger and sorrow over the event. Actress Elva Ni echoed similar sentiments.[8][9]
This event caused public outrage and started the debate on restricting internet use for individuals with mental health illnesses. Some mentioned that having autism and hyperactivity disorder is by no means a reason to challenge the law or violate human ethics. Therefore, to stop people with mental illness from doing illegal things to get fame, they should be banned online.[10]
After Wong’s grave was destroyed, many people started to agrue about resisting those people who were doing lawless and eye-catching things on internet. Former City University lecturer and criminologist Lai Din-Kee said that although one of the arrested persons claimed to have autism and hyperactivity disorder and did shocking things, his real purpose in destroying Ka-Kui's tomb was that Lai believed it was to get views and likes. To prevent people doing eye-catching and unacceptable things to get fame, the best way was to make people stop watching and supporting these kinds of video.[11]
As a consequence, the destruction is adjudicated as property damage. Leung Chun-Yin admitted the offence. The prosecution demanded compensation of HKD9000 for the him and Yip Tsz To. However, it is claimed that the 16-year-old defendant (Leung Chun-Yin) cannot afford the required compensation. As a result, the requirement is not issued. Referring to the case in which Leung Chun-Yin was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Autism and obsessive-compulsive disorder(OCD), he was sentenced to enter the rehabilitation centre.[1]
