Rankings from AP poll

The 2025 SEC men's basketball tournament will be the 66th tournament conducted by the Southeastern Conference. The event will take place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on March 12 through 16, 2025. This will be the first tournament since the conference expanded to 16 teams with the additions of Oklahoma and Texas. The winner will receive an automatic bid to the 2025 NCAA tournament.

Seeds

[edit]

All 16 members of the SEC will participate in the event, standing in contrast to the Big Ten and the ACC who will exclude the three lowest seeds from their tournaments. The top 4 seeds will earn a double-bye to the quarterfinals, and seeds 5-8 will earn a bye to the second round.
