Hi Joiedevivre1, Draft:Climate change in Singapore is already under review so it's best to wait fo the reviewer to say something. Draft:Aphrodite Project has some reference improvements that can be done: No need to have 5 references on one sentence, references 8, 9 and 10 and also 16 and 17 are the same. I hope this helps. I am more than happy to discuss content and factual accuracy... but the user immediately jumped to threatening me multiple times without discussing the content itself and the merits, reported me in a serious manner (is it a serious report when reported as a sock?) and then further alleges i'm now harassing them "by following them around"?

I took care to reference the material and Maintain NPOV based on existing wikipedia articles and external resources.

I agree with you, at the end of the day, touch grass, it's not real world harassment; but they are Wikipedia:Hounding me to stop talking. I literally. just made a new account and i don't want to be banned from day-dot. It feels embarrassing and definitely not ideal to be immediately labelled with allegations. Hi Əhməd Qurbanov, take a look at WP:PEACOCK. For the ones used in the draft: around the world, entrepreneur, expert, innovation, insights, more than, spanning, worldwide. Of course, not all of these need to be changed, as context is always relevant (for example: innovation is in the name so it can obviously stay.) Institute for China-America Studies

Hi 1AmNobody24, I saw your note on Bbb's talk page and it reminded me of National Iranian American Council (POV editing both ways, UPE/COI) with sources that did not support the content, poor sources and WP:SYNTH. I also noticed the same editor who heavily edited that article created Institute for China-America Studies and saw some of the same issues. As you can tell, I did some light editing trying to follow more closely what reliable sources state and removed a source that did not mention ICAS but like National Iranian American Council, it's still a mess. If you disagree with anything I have done, I don't have an issue with you amending it as long it is supported by WP:RS. I don't have the knowledge (or interest) to dig into it in any real way. I have no doubt that is the case. Many of these articles have no watchers/interested editors outside of those wanting to push a POV. The National Iranian American Council came to my attention due to a UPE sock farm I was following and looking through the history, it was nothing but POV editors from the beginning so I had no good version to revert back to. I was able to get it ECP because of it falls under a WP:CTOP to at least quell the disruption for a while. I'll also try to keep an eye on ICAS. S0091 (talk) 17:24, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Alt-text helps people with visual impairments to read Wikipedia articles. The team aims to learn if adding alt-text to images is a task that editors can be successful with. The Codex color palette has been updated with new and revised colors for the MediaWiki user interfaces. The most noticeable changes for editors include updates for: dark mode colors for Links and for quiet Buttons (progressive and destructive), visited Link colors for both light and dark modes, and background colors for system-messages in both light and dark modes.
It is now possible to include clickable wikilinks and external links inside code blocks. From Wikimedia Enterprise:
- The API now enables 5,000 on-demand API requests per month and twice-monthly HTML snapshots freely (gratis and libre). More information on the updates and also improvements to the software development kits (SDK) are explained on the project's blog post. While Wikimedia Enterprise APIs are designed for high-volume commercial reusers, this change enables many more community use-cases to be built on the service too.
- The Snapshot API (html dumps) have added beta Structured Contents endpoints (blog post on that) as well as released two beta datasets (English and French Wikipedia) from that endpoint to Hugging Face for public use and feedback (blog post on that). These pre-parsed data sets enable new options for researchers, developers, and data scientists to use and study the content.

The Wikidata Query Service (WDQS) is used to get answers to questions using the Wikidata data set. As Wikidata grows, we had to make a major architectural change so that WDQS could remain performant. As part of the WDQS Graph Split project, we have new SPARQL endpoints available for serving the "scholarly" and "main" subgraphs of Wikidata. The query.wikidata.org endpoint will continue to serve the full Wikidata graph until March 2025. After this date, it will only serve the main graph.
