Names Of Airfields?

[edit]

For this list, what name should be used? Many air bases here in the US were surplussed after the war and became the "local" airport, while others were renamed after WWII heros. For example:

Moses Lake Army Air Base (in 1942) → Larson Air Force Base (after WWII) → Grant County International Airport

All the same piece of land, but technically only one exists today and only one existed during WWII. Any thoughts? McNeight 01:42, 23 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
