Butler

[edit]

Judith Butler isn't a philosopher, she's a liteary critic.

Philosopher is a general term. Oftentimes, one can see that a philosopher is not only that but an author, critic, mathematican, eg. Therefore, the listing of various persons that may not be by name philosophers but have contributed to important, prolific writings of the 21st century is necessary. [In response to a note in the discussion.]

It is a little strange to include Steven Hawking here after what he said about philosophy. ACEOREVIVED (talk) 00:45, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Add New Philosophers

[edit]

There's no easy way to add in new philosophers. The "edit" page doesn't work. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 167.206.244.10 (talk) 18:12, 30 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Simply add the Category:21st-century philosophers at the bottom of articles which are within the scope. That is how you add articles to categories in Wikipedia. Dimadick (talk) 12:58, 6 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
