Zupee was founded in 2018 by Dilsher Singh Malhi and Siddhant Saurabh.[8]
Zupee is backed by investors such as WestCap Group, Tomales Bay Capital, Nepean Capital, AJ Capital, Matrix Partners India, and Orios Venture Partners.[9]
In 2021, Zupee introduced a skilling academy and partnered with NIIT Foundation to offer vocational skills programs.[10]
