Our article on the matter says 16 Imperial German Sailors KIA, but that would be directly related. I'm not sure about POW-related casualties (like deaths due to "accidents" or such), nor am I certain how they were killed. Smart money says drowning, but if I had more time on the matter I'd have done a better job of looking into this to see if any were killed buying time for German Navy personnel to evacuate or intentionally killed by Royal Navy personnel in the process of their attempted intervention to prevent the scuttling.
