In honour of Women's History Month, the Composer of the Month for March is Peggy Glanville-Hicks
We lack articles on three of her operas...
- Nausicaa, premiered in 1961, considered her most important opera and based on the Homeric character Nausicaa (pictured)
- The Glittering Gate, premiered in 1959 and based on the play of the same name by Lord Dunsany
- Sappho, her last opera, written in 1963 to a libretto by Lawrence Durrell but unperformed until 2012
