The result of the discussion was no consensus. The discussion is arguing about its usage. But there is no result. Feel to userfy it for Legoktm if you still believe it should be deleted. Unused and seemly inappropriate template. I'm guessing this is supposed to be subst-only? I'd say stick to WP:TROUT... Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 23:59, 28 February 2019 (UTC)

- @Jc86035: I just used it and it didn't show up in search from that link ~ R.T.G 13:40, 3 March 2019 (UTC)
- @RTG: That's because you didn't substitute it. The search would only match your use of the template if you'd substituted it, since it searches for part of the contents of the template and not the name of the template. Jc86035 (talk) 13:46, 3 March 2019 (UTC)

- We created the template after there was an excessive amount of people people trouting people for the silliest things and it was getting somewhat ridiculous, I think. It's very clearly a joke, given the message contents and the TINC banner on the template page itself. I'm not sure how it could be offensive. I didn't expect for it to ever be used. If people are intent on deletion, please userfy it for me. Legoktm (talk) 07:44, 3 March 2019 (UTC)
KeepNeutral ~ R.T.G 13:40, 3 March 2019 (UTC)- @RTG: Why? Jc86035 (talk) 13:42, 3 March 2019 (UTC)
- @Jc86035:Why? Because he used suicide as a joke and people got offended and he rubbished them for it. Endless bad faith, puke. Check out the talk section on WPSignpost humour page for this month and you'll get the idea. ~ R.T.G 13:44, 3 March 2019 (UTC)
- @RTG: No, I meant, why should we keep the template? I'm not disagreeing of your use of it, although you're the only person who's ever used it. Just saying "keep", as I'm sure you're aware, is not really a substantive argument. Jc86035 (talk) 13:48, 3 March 2019 (UTC)
- @Jc86035: I suppose, because it is puking on McCandlish. I think that is very substantive! A more serious opinion? Awk, it's probably not very constructive, and it's too big. The words suggest it was used only once for a specific issue. Maybe it would be okay in a reduced image format without the text, so it could be used in comments, but you'd have to use it a lot for it to catch on. ~ R.T.G 13:55, 3 March 2019 (UTC)
- I edited mine to neutral. Aside from bad faith in a discussion, or a banner saying, "This page contains puke," I can't see any quirky or practical uses. I substituted my use and have no further requirement of it. ~ R.T.G 10:31, 7 March 2019 (UTC)

- Keep. I just received one of these, over a matter of "probably beyond
{{Whale}}
" socio-political interest to the community at large, and found it both hilarious and effective in getting the templater's message across. Given that I just posted something recently in my own defense that "this is not NeverOffendPedia", I'd be hypocritical to argue to censor a humor-not-humor template just because some people might be offended by it. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 13:53, 3 March 2019 (UTC)- @SMcCandlish: I think the nomination is more "no one ever used this" than "this is offensive", since the use on your talk page (as mentioned above) is so far the only use of the template. Jc86035 (talk) 13:58, 3 March 2019 (UTC)
- Now that's funny, ~ R.T.G 14:01, 3 March 2019 (UTC)
- Hmm. I generally buy that argument for utility templates (if not used, there is no utility). I'm not sure it's so good for community-interaction ones intended for project and user space. Given my talk-page-stalker rate (which has probably markedly increased over the last 3 days), it might see more use. :-) Sometimes templates languish due to orphaning and can get picked up after they've appeared in a few places. (Categorization and inclusion in lists of templates also plays a role.) — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 14:04, 3 March 2019 (UTC)

- The parent article is Punjab_Legislative_Assembly. I believe the intention was to use it as a nesting template, for government administration periods, but only one relevant template has been added so far 2007-2012, and the others have not been created yet, so it's just one template within a template as it stands. ~ R.T.G 10:49, 7 March 2019 (UTC)

- Delete - 3 links only. Also as a personal opinion, these style of navboxes are pointless as the fact that they share a channel has almost no relevance to a reader. A reader would more likely care about similar programs on different channels broadcast at the same year (Modern Family and Big Bang Theory) then two different programs on the same channel which were broadcast years apart. For those cases where a reader does want to read the broadcast history, we have a List of X article and categories. --Gonnym (talk) 07:50, 1 March 2019 (UTC)

GiantSnowman 14:10, 4 March 2019 (UTC)- @GiantSnowman: http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:UAFA_associations shows no current usage, and the page you linked to is a red link. - @Jweiss11: ok so now it is used in ONE place. Why not just put the table on that page. There is no reason for a single use template. --Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 19:11, 3 March 2019 (UTC)
- Zackmann08, because all those other seasons like 1977–78 Fresno State State Bulldogs men's basketball team are as notable at 1977–78 UC Irvine Anteaters men's basketball team and should be created. This template will also be used at 1977–78 NCAA Division I men's basketball season, when that article is created. Rule of thumb: if you're cherry-picking off one or a few members of an established class of templates already in used on many articles, you probably should not be making the deletion nomination. cherry picking
anything... The template is unused. --Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 19:35, 3 March 2019 (UTC)

unused navbox with no parent article. Also violates WP:ACCESS Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 20:19, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose it is used on several pages. As far as WP:ACCESS goes the nominator may have a point, and should discuss this at WT:NFL but the other navbox links are not in the articles themselves.-UCO2009bluejay (talk) 15:06, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose. Navbox is now fully used. As far as this entire class of navboxes as a concept, a broader discussion would have to take place at WT:NFL before we should be taking any action there. Additionally, any WP:ACCESS concerns that may exist here actually involve a different template, not this one. Ejgreen77 (talk) 16:03, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
- Comment I've raised the accessibility issue at Template talk:Chicago Bears Draft template list. Hopefully members of WP:NFL will take on board the problems caused for this and other similar templates. --RexxS (talk) 16:57, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
- I really don't see this as a huge problem. The list of draft years is a purely back-end tool that isn't visible when the template is deployed on an article (see usage at Len Akin). The average user never sees it and probably doesn't even know that it exists. Ejgreen77 (talk) 17:11, 5 March 2019 (UTC)

": If you're arguing that the list is so unimportant that we don't have to bother about the visually impaired being able to read it, then why would we bother having it at all? --RexxS (talk) 17:30, 5 March 2019 (UTC)- It's purely a back end navigational tool that's intended for editors, not for readers (though, arguably, Category:Chicago Bears draft navigational boxes performs the same function). The general public never sees it. Sure, we could delete it. Or, we could make it full sized (again, space constraints don't really matter here because it isn't displayed on pages that use the template). Either way, it's easily the least important part of this navbox, and using that as a justification for deletion is the definition of a ticky-tack argument. Ejgreen77 (talk) 17:44, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
- But I'm not arguing for deletion. I think it ought to be kept. I just want the argument about accessibility settled so that I can oppose deletion without being side-tracked. --RexxS (talk) 18:26, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
- You're not, no. That part of my comment was directed towards the original nominator who proposed this template for deletion arguing ACCESS on something that isn't displayed to the general public. Ejgreen77 (talk) 18:40, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
- We have editors who have visual imparments, as well as readers. Why are their needs considered "ticky-tack"? Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 11:09, 7 March 2019 (UTC)

- Keep: this was discussed previously when it was not in use. The template is now in use in each of the articles listed so there is no reason to delete. There is also really no reason to have a parent article because that would only be a summery of the articles themselves and likely put up for deletion. Unused templates with no clear purpose. Population data shouldn't be taken from massive switch statements in a template. --Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 18:30, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- Keep Not necessarily unused. Documentation at Template:Database Population Versailles (commune) indicates that this category of template is used in other templates such as Template:Table Population Town (currently 592 transclusions) and Template:Chart Population Town. A live example of the use of this category of template can be seen at Bordeaux #Population. If any of the communities from Aast, Pyrénées-Atlantiques to Versailles, Yvelines wanted to include either of those two population templates, they would need the corresponding database template from the list above. --RexxS (talk) 19:01, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- @RexxS: Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Database_Population_Versailles_(commune) indicates it is not... Am I missing something? Can you prove that they are used? NOT trying to be contentious. If you are right and they ARE being used, I need to withdraw this nomination... It really looks to me like these templates listed above are not used. --Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 19:12, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- @Zackmann08: I'm sorry I didn't explain clearly enough for you. If somebody wants to use Template:Table Population Town or Template:Chart Population Town in the article Versailles (commune), they will need the Template:Database Population Versailles (commune). The same will apply to the articles Aast, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Abancourt, Oise, and so on. You have simply listed the database templates for articles where they haven't been used yet. But deleting the database templates will prevent use of Template:Table Population Town or Template:Chart Population Town in any of those articles. "Unused" is not a deletion criterion, per se. If I were designing these sort of population templates, I wouldn't choose to do it that way (I'd pull the info from Wikidata, of course), but that's the way they work at present. --RexxS (talk) 19:29, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- @RexxS: AH! Ok now I get you. Well then we are going to have to agree to disagree. As these are unused, I don't see any reason to keep them. If someone down the road wants to use them, they can create the template, request the template be restored (WP:REFUND) or do the proper thing which is to provide the data directly on the page. I think this warrants further discussion here by other users but given that the above are not used, I don't see a reason to keep them. --Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 19:36, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- @Zackmann08: Unfortunately, unlike in other cases, if down the road an editor wants to add {{Table Population Town}} to any of the 104 articles Aast, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Abancourt, Oise, ... Versailles (commune), there's no way of them knowing that they need to request the corresponding REFUND, and I seriously hope you're not expecting them to go through the effort of re-assembling all of that population data? Deleting data for no stated benefit and expecting someone else to re-create it when needed is not how we treat fellow editors. Sure, we can agree to disagree, but I've just added {{Table Population Town}} to Aast, Pyrénées-Atlantiques. Does that mean you must now withdraw the relevant nomination, as the database template is no longer 'unused'? --RexxS (talk) 19:50, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- @RexxS: your argument boils down to "don't delete these templates because they might be needed in the future". All of these templates are over 14 months old and have no uses. I see no reason to keep them. As for my need to withdraw the nomination, no you gaming the system by picking one template and adding it to an article doesn't mean I'm going to withdraw the nomination for the rest. If you want to remove that now-used template from the nomination that is fine. --Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 21:28, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- @Zackmann08: My argument actually is "don't delete these templates because the problems of recreating them in future when needed far outweighs to tiny amount of server space we would gain by deleting them". You argument boils down to "I'm not going to give a good reason to delete them, but I do think things would be neater if we did". Your crusade to tidy the namespace is now proving disruptive, and it's going to end badly, especially now that you've started personalising the debate with attacks like
"gaming the system"
. I edited an article to demonstrate how these templates can be used to improve an article, and you call that "gaming the system". How dare you? I'm going to ask you to strike that immediately. An editor at any time could add Template:Table Population Town or Template:Chart Population Town to an article on that list and find themselves with an unusable mess of errors, just because you think that "unused" = "unusable". --RexxS (talk) 22:46, 28 February 2019 (UTC)

- Question I can't see any use for these, but their utility could be eluding me. @RexxS:, is what I see on the Aast page the desired result of adding the template? Eric talk 20:23, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- @Eric: Please take a look at Bordeaux #Population. That attractive "Population change" table and "Population Over Time" chart result from their templates {{Table Population Town}} and {{Chart Population Town}} being able to call {{Database Population Bordeaux}}. That template for Bordeaux contains all of the population data used to create the Population change table and Population Over Time chart. Nobody has yet added those to the 103 articles for whose data we are considering deletion. But if we delete those 103 database templates, nobody will be able to simply add those tables and charts in those articles. What you see on the Aast, Pyrénées-Atlantiques page is the result of the nominator not caring about the mess the nomination makes in any article when the notice is not 'noincluded'. --RexxS (talk) 22:46, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- That statement is a bit out of place, as there were no articles that used them, so no "mess" was caused. When you added it to that page, you could have fixed the usage instead of blaming him for something that wasn't there in the first place. --Gonnym (talk) 22:58, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- Ok, yes, @RexxS:, Bordeaux looks good. But I guess I'm too thick, at least for the moment, to perceive what's missing (and from where it's missing) that prevents the Aast article from benefiting from the table invocations. But if I take your point correctly, the currently unused templates are placeholders to facilitate future use of the population data for those places, no? Eric talk 23:29, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- The point is, Gonnym, that any editor could come along at any time – perhaps having seen {{Table Population Town}} and {{Chart Population Town}} in another article about a French municipality – and add them. That mess is what they would get right now if they did. The onus is on a nominator to ensure that they not only don't create chaos, but that they don't create the potential for chaos by their edits to a template. I'm a volunteer here as well and it's not my job to clean up the mess that others cause.
- @Eric: Now that I've removed the TfD notice from Template:Database Population Aast, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, the Aast, Pyrénées-Atlantiques #Population article is displaying correctly. The {{Table Population Town}} makes use of all the information stored in Template:Database Population Aast, Pyrénées-Atlantiques. Does that give you a better idea of the use for these database templates? --RexxS (talk) 00:07, 1 March 2019 (UTC)
- @RexxS:: Yes, especially now that I take a look at the code on the template page. Thanks for explaining it! Eric talk 02:00, 1 March 2019 (UTC)

- Keep. Part of a system, so the existence of these templates is in a way assumed by the current setup of things. Though when then results of the next census come out, instead of updating all these templates. we should probably switch to a more elegant way to store all this data, no? – Uanfala (talk) 23:58, 4 March 2019 (UTC)
- Delete the entire Template:Database Population XXX family as I said before, any attempt to store data is a misuse of template namespace unless each individual datum is in use on substantially more than one article. Given that these are unused, they clearly fail that test. {{3x|p}}ery (talk) 03:12, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
- If you believe that a single use of a dataset renders that dataset unsuitable for Template: namespace, I think you're going to have to explain where you think such a dataset should be kept. In doing so, you'll have to take into consideration that an article like Bordeaux uses the dataset twice (once for the table and once for the chart); and also outline how editors will be expected to deal with cases when another page later on needs to use that dataset, Do we then move it to template space? Do we move it back if it is no longer used twice? I'm sorry but I don't think you've thought through the issues of storing datasets in different places depending solely on how many times they are used. --RexxS (talk) 15:08, 6 March 2019 (UTC)

Unused sub-template. not sure what its purpose would be? Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 18:15, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- Keep - This is not an unused sub-template at all. It is meant to be substed, which is why it doesn't appear to be used. It's an easy way for editors to reformat infoboxes in articles and remove invalid fields giving the article a fresh infobox to work with. A lot of Australian articles are using incorrectly formatted infoboxes from years gone by that are missing parameters that have been added since the article was created. In many cases, hacks to get around deficiences in the old infobox are present. As should be obvious by the name, it is a "cleanup" template. A trout to the nom for not bothering to ask a simple question. --AussieLegend (✉) 18:22, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- @AussieLegend: the template had ZERO documentation, didn't use {{subst only}} and doesn't have a single mention of
safesubst
in the code, so how was anyone to know it was a subst-only template? The name "cleanup" doesn't make anything obvious. I actually thought that it was someones attempt to cleanup the templates code, I.E. a sandbox of sorts. That is the entire reason we have {{Doc}}. If you had bothered to use it, then I would have known what the template was for. Furthermore, just merge it with the base template. You don't need a separate version of the template for substitution purposes. Just because you don't like that I TfDed your template, doesn't mean I deserve a WP:TROUT. --Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 18:43, 28 February 2019 (UTC)- You could simply have looked at the edit history and asked me for information, or maybe point out that the template was missing documentation. Delete This is the template that allows automated creation of Portals without prior discusson. There is no community consensus that any such undiscussed portals should be created, so this template is contrary to consensus as well. UnitedStatesian (talk) 13:36, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- Semi-automated creation, as it involves user interaction. The save button must be clicked on by the user, which is referred to as semi-automated. Automated page creation is when software saves the page rather than a human, is covered by the bot policy and is under the sole jurisdiction of the bot approval group (BAG). Automated page creation of any page type would absolutely require prior discussion over at Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval. — The Transhumanist 07:45, 2 March 2019 (UTC)
- Keep. This tool can be used to create missing portals which should exist. It can also be used to create unwanted pages, but that issue is already being addressed in other forums. Cheque fraud is a problem, but the correct solution is not a ban on ballpoint pens. Certes (talk) 13:47, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- Unfortunately for you, that doesn't change the fact that there is no consensus that this particular tool should exist. Can you point to a single case where this template was used to create a portal based on prior consensus? Possession of burglary tools and plutonium is illegal in most jurisdictions. UnitedStatesian (talk) 13:52, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- Like articles and most other Wikipedia content, editors create portals and templates as they see fit without engaging in a detailed discussion of each page's merits. Of course, they should follow any relevant policies and guidelines, but I don't see how creating this template breached any of those. Anyone who disagrees can then raise an XfD such as this one. This template has been used to create missing portals such as Portal:Money, one of the High-importance Portal pages and based on a level-3 vital article. Certes (talk) 14:14, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- Keep. There's no consensus that portals have to be discussed before they can be created. Even if such consensus existed, there's no reason why this template shouldn't be used after such a discussion. Therefore there is no reason to delete this widely used template. WaggersTALK 14:03, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- Keep. User conduct matters should be dealt with at a more appropriate forum – particularly when deleting a template would be trivially easy to overcome (just store the code in a text file on one's computer), and when the template also has other uses: converting old-style un-maintained portals to use automatic transclusion of content instead of outdated content (e.g. see search results for insource:"basic portal start page" in Portal namespace, which includes results like Portal:Biography, Portal:Association football, Portal:Geography, Portal:Australia). Note also that portal skeleton templates have existed since 2005 – indicating that the concept of starting a portal from a subst:ed template is not controversial, just the user conduct. - Evad37 [talk] 14:34, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- I am glad you raised Portal:Biographies. That one is covered with bright red "The time allocated for running scripts has expired." That's some improvement you did there. UnitedStatesian (talk) 14:50, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you for the error report. I've fixed Portal:Biography with a few parameter tweaks. Do you agree that it's now an improvement on the previous version? Certes (talk) 15:26, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- That's not the previous version, since it shows redlinks where the subpages have been deleted. UnitedStatesian (talk) 16:08, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- Portal:Biography currently looks a lot less useful that this old version. Instead of a (too long) list of all featured biographies, it had resources inviting editing and collaboration, and a nice On This Day section. —Kusma (t·c) 16:59, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- That version resulted from {{Box portal skeleton}}. It had some advantages over the results of {{Basic portal start page}} but needed to be maintained manually. Rather then deleting it, perhaps {{Basic portal start page}} can be made to behave more like {{Box portal skeleton}} whilst retaining the advantages of automatic updates. Certes (talk) 17:13, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- Automatic updates have some advantages and some disadvantages. Some mixed system is probably best (I think the DYK magic is wonderful to suggest potential candidates for portal DYKs, but is not smart enough to be used to display DYKs on the main portal page without potential embarrassment, compare the DYK section of Portal:Spiders). —Kusma (t·c) 20:23, 28 February 2019 (UTC)

- Keep – Dear UnitedStatesian, your statements about community consensus are false, and I respectfully request that you withdraw your nomination. There is well-established community consensus to create portals, otherwise, there wouldn't be a type of page called a "portal", there wouldn't be a portal namespace, or portal guidelines. Why would we have a namespace for portals if portal construction were not allowed by the community? We have a portal namespace for the same reason we have an Article namespace: to facilitate the creation of pages of those types. The same as with articles and other page types on Wikipedia (except bot accounts), there is no community consensus that portals must be discussed before their creation. Such a system was tried for portals for awhile, but was rejected by the community. So, not only is there community consensus to create portals without discussion, there is also community consensus against requiring discussion before portal creation. Generally speaking, you can create any type of page on Wikipedia without prior discussion, including articles, categories, templates, modules, etc. Why would portals be an exception? If the community had made an exception for them. But, it hasn't. Sincerely, — The Transhumanist 17:55, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- What is your basis for asking me to withdraw my nomination? UnitedStatesian (talk) 20:52, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:EDITCONSENSUS. That includes the first edit on a page (its creation). — The Transhumanist 07:58, 1 March 2019 (UTC)
- Delete there is wide community concensus against this semi automated process. The proponent says he can create portals (with all this content) in just 3 minutes [1] which suggests not much thought goes into what goes on the page. This process should not exist until and unless it gets a wide spread agreement this automated content creation is the way to go. Legacypac (talk) 19:44, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- Keep, the problem is not this structure template, but using it without adapting properly to each topic. Creating a good portal can start from a template like this, but should proceed from there to something adapted to the content and should get regular manual maintenance. Manual maintenance is not a problem, but a necessity to create interesting portals full of relevant content. —Kusma (t·c) 20:23, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- Keep For some reason, there seems to be a belief that the (perceived) problematic rate of portal creation can be properly solved by removing the tools used to create them. That is not a solution, no more than banning kitchen knives would reduce stabbings. Don't blame the tools guys. If there are technical issues with the template, feel free to report them on WT:WPPORT where our editors can (usually very quickly) address them. — AfroThundr (u · t · c) 02:15, 1 March 2019 (UTC)

I just do not understand why you want to delete so many templates (most things that do no harm could just be left alone) and you don't seem to be listening to my arguments. Back to the template in question: There can be practical reasons why editors at a specific article wish to move particular bits of the source elsewhere. Template space is the best space for that, as with various diagrams. As Wikipedia:Template namespace says: Templates should not normally be used to store article text, as this makes it more difficult to edit the content.

(emphasis mine). It is not prohibited, and if using templates makes editing actually easier in specific cases, I don't see how we can use this bit of the guideline. Most of the template namespace is filled with typical templates used for standardising things across articles, but not all of the template namespace is like that. If single-use templates or standalone templates were to be prohibited in the template namespace, they would need to be moved elsewhere, not deleted. But there is no "correct" space for these things, so template space is the best choice at the moment. —Kusma (t·c) 21:18, 1 March 2019 (UTC)
- Keep. If the editors who look after the article it's used on believe having it separate makes editing the article better, then I'd rather believe them. Yes, there is no perfect place for that kind of stuff: this used to be handled by a subpage of the article, but subpages don't exist in the main namespace anymore, and the only other alternative – having this as a separate article – is not viable. – Uanfala (talk) 23:36, 4 March 2019 (UTC)

Please add new comments below this notice. Thanks, Hhkohh (talk) 00:33, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- Support Template:Row numbers is better documented and slightly more used. They appear to work the same way taking in raw wikisource. -- GreenC 15:37, 28 February 2019 (UTC)

- Template:Bs a team (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
Unused template with no links Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 00:29, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- Delete - unused and probably replaced by one of the other sport table templates or modules. --Gonnym (talk) 10:00, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- Delete - unused. Relies on the existence of Bs team templates, see: Category:Bs team templates. {{Bs a2 team}} IS used and seems to be preferred as perhaps simpler. Nigej (talk) 14:28, 28 February 2019 (UTC)

Unused template with no links Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 00:28, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- Delete - unused and from looking at Futures Collegiate Baseball League teams, none of them have this template, which seems to mean that editors of those pages are not using these. --Gonnym (talk) 10:00, 28 February 2019 (UTC)

unused templates with no incoming links Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 00:28, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- Delete - unused with no parent article. --Gonnym (talk) 10:00, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- Delete. Topics like this are better suited to category navigation. --woodensuperman 11:47, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- Delete. Agree as above. Category is better. The template is an arbitrary list of names. Nigej (talk) 14:34, 28 February 2019 (UTC)

unused navbox, with mostly redlinks and no parent article Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 00:27, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- Delete - unused and links to a parent article which doesn't even mention barons. --Gonnym (talk) 10:00, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- Delete - unused and forgotten about. Links to specific people known as "lords" who are not "lords", most of whom do not have articles. Best deleted since it is almost certainly out of date. Nigej (talk) 14:42, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
