Is Robert Langdon's claustrophobia a useful thing to the plot in the book?

[edit]

I saw the movie The Da Vinci Code the other day and noticed Tom Hanks' character's fear of getting into an elevator and subsequently came here to Wikipedia and read the fictional character's article to find that Langdon was claustrophobic due to having fallen into a well as a child. Is anything more made of it/is it used in the book? I don't assume the elevator scene was in the book. 75.75.42.89 (talk) 06:48, 27 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Classical Guitar Music Designation: TI ii-40

[edit]

I'm working on a piece by Tarrega that is designated "Study in D Major TI ii-40" and I can't find a recording of it. What does the "TI ii-40" designation mean? Is this specific to Tarrega (like KV is for Mozart)? I couldn't find any information in our articles on Tarrega or his list of compositions. Thanks! See this forum thread and these liner notes. "TI" stands for "Tarrega Index", but I've not been able to track down a listing of the index, or who originally compiled it. Tevildo (talk) 15:31, 28 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the references: they made for interesting reading. It's odd that the actual index is so difficult to find, but perhaps it just hasn't been put online yet.OldTimeNESter (talk) 14:05, 29 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

MTV top 20 butts

[edit]

In December 1999 or 2000 (or around that time) MTV aired a program featuring top 20 asses in music videos. This program was preceded by a superchart of 200 music videos. What was the title of that top 20 music video asses program? I know it's not "Top 20 Video Countdown". 93.174.25.12 (talk) 20:14, 27 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe a part of MTV 2 Large: New Years Eve 2000? InedibleHulk (talk) 00:01, 30 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

nightmare on elm street freddy's revenge eyes

[edit]

Did they put some eye drop on his eyes to make his eyes scary or is just some contact lens?

I'm pretty sure that's just contact lenses. A drop that did that to your eyes would likely be extremely dangerous. 99.235.223.170 (talk) 21:34, 29 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. Contact lenses are benign for most people and there are (or were at the time) many different types of contact lenses in use in the film industry. There's no reason to mess with chemicals in someone's eyes when a simple pair of contacts could have been made. Dismas|(talk) 21:59, 29 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
