Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? Deluxe

[edit]

Can I download a versoin of this game for Windows XP or is there a purchaseable version?

You can download it here: [1] or buy a copy at a website which shares it's name with the longest river in South America and a mythical race of female warriors: [2]. StuRat 07:23, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Carol King - You got a friend

[edit]

Hi! What is the latest about Carol King? Has she retired? One can never forget a great song like 'You got a friend'

Thanks, Dru.

I would imagine most available information would be posted on her website [3]. --Richardrj talk email 06:05, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If doing any web searches, be sure to include the E at the end of her first name: Carole King. StuRat 07:09, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks guys, I got what I wanted!

Question about Soccer position

[edit]

I am currently revamping the Shaolin Soccer page and there is a character that is described as being the "FF" of the opposing team. I know very little about the basic structure of soccer beyond some guy kicking the ball past another into the net. What position is the FF? Is there an article for it? (Ghostexorcist 11:54, 28 May 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Football (soccer) positions. Cheers, Dr_Dima.
Answered already on talk page. --LuigiManiac 13:47, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Possessing some football (soccer) expertise, I've never heard of the full-forward position before. Having seen the film, as far as I can remember, Centre-forward or main striker would be a suitable term.  Sʟυмgυм • т  c  20:41, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Office US Version

[edit]

In the episode 'Beach Games' when they are driving to the beach and singing does anyone know which character has that really distinctive voice? Thanks

That's Michael Scott, Steve Carell's character. — Lomn 21:29, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks!

Dragon Films

[edit]

I, for one, am completely bored of the Pirate fad. I'm thinking a good Next Big Thing would be dragons. So, what films sufficiently glorify dragons enough to make them fad-able? Ninebucks 23:04, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Did you not notice that Eragon came out last year? It didn't spawn much of a fad. I certainly haven't heard of a "Talk like a Dragon" day yet. --Kainaw (talk) 23:10, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I personally believe that penguins hold the fad crown at present (America). 38.112.225.84 08:00, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed. I was discussing this just the other day with someone while we were watching the previews before Spider-Man 3. Since March of the Penguins there have been at least two other penguin movies released or soon to be so, including Happy Feet and the forthcoming Surf's Up. On the dragon question though, there was a dragon movie with Sean Connery as the voice of the dragon a number of years ago that cast dragons in a favorable light. Dragonheart was the name of that one. Dismas|(talk) 09:34, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Dragonslayer is the obvious one. There's also an animated Dragonlance movie coming soon apparently. Of course, if they can ever get the rights issues surrounding The Hobbit sorted then you have a dragon movie craze in the making. BTW is there a pirate movie craze? The only ones I'm aware of are the Pirates of the Carribean films. Although a remake of The Crimson Pirate with modern special effects would be a sight to behold. Ninjas of course! --Wirbelwindヴィルヴェルヴィント (talk) 02:33, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you're looking for a realistic (such as it were), post-apocalyptic dragon movie, I would recommend Reign of Fire. It didn't do too well when it came out, but I think it's very underrated. zafiroblue05 | Talk 05:28, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
