Rollback

My next logical request for permission, one that I don't suppose I can utilize alongside Ultraviolet to stop the bad faith one-timers and vandals where I watch. Although, I must admit, I should simultaneously take care to not get into any content dispute I see; I'll do my best not to get into one this way. Thanks for considering (again). 2601AC47 (talk·contribs·my rights) Isn't a IP anon 01:40, 1 December 2024 (UTC)
- P.S.: as a sure guarantee my use of rollback is done safely and without causing any significant issue, I'll use Mr. Stradivarius' ConfirmRollback. 2601AC47 (talk·contribs·my rights) Isn't a IP anon 01:45, 1 December 2024 (UTC)
- 2601AC47, a confirmation click before rollback has become a feature that doesn't need userscripts anymore. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 00:08, 15 December 2024 (UTC)

I would like to be able to access rollback tools to fight vandalism more effectively, I am familiar with Wikipedia's rules. SparklingBlueMoon (talk) 17:17, 2 December 2024 (UTC)

This permission will help me in combating vandalism. I’ve been actively patrolling recent changes, always warning users when necessary, assuming good faith, and taking full responsibility for all my edits. I also do crosswiki patrolling and recently joined the SWMT. — Jet Pilot (talk) 21:03, 3 December 2024 (UTC)

Hello! I had been actively patrolling RC in 2023 but paused for a long time since I was too busy. I plan to resume soon and would like rollback rights to make it easier. However, I mostly edit on my school computer so I am unable to use any tools such as Huggle, RedWarn, etc. Thank you for considering my request.
Note from 07:07, 6 December 2024 (UTC): I had just been informed that RedWarn can be used on a school computer, so it's very likely that I will be using it. xRozuRozu • teacups 23:57, 5 December 2024 (UTC)

I have been reverting vandalism by undoing edits, warning users, and monitoring several pages to keep them protected. Rollback rights would make my efforts faster and more efficient. I am familiar with WP:VANDAL. ZyphorianNexus (talk) 07:15, 9 December 2024 (UTC)

I have been reverting vandalism since I created my account. Although it appears I am a new user, I also have experience editing Wikipedia and reverting vandalism as an IP for many years (which I will not be disclosing due to security concerns). The rollback right will help me revert vandalism faster, which is why I am requesting it. PersonAccount 🐉 (talk) 20:08, 13 December 2024 (UTC)
- PersonAccount, to be honest, no, it doesn't appear you are a new user. Which is okay if all previous activity was without having an account and without disruption. It will take longer than for other users until the trust for manually granting permissions is there in your case. It isn't yet, to me. Unless someone else grants rollback in the next week or so, I'll decline this with a recommendation not to ask for permissions until your account is a year old. Regarding rollback in particular, Twinkle and Ultraviolet will do just fine. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 02:11, 15 December 2024 (UTC)

I am finally starting to have a WP:CLUE, though I still deserve a good whack to the face with some WP:TROUT more often than I would like. While redwarn/UV is nice, it is not very fast to load diffs in the browser the way that I do at the moment (it is surprisingly resource intensive), and I think Huggle would help quite a bit along with reducing mistakes made as diffs would be clearer with less lag and more efficient resource usage. I have made mistakes, and will continue to make mistakes, but I find myself leaving more and more diffs untouched now that I realize more often when I don't have a WP:CLUE. Any advice is welcome, and advice on if I should still be using RedWarn or if there is some reason I should switch to UV would be welcome as well. 【💬】 04:16, 15 December 2024 (UTC)

Being able to mass-rollback would've come in handy the last few days when dealing with cleaning up after an editor who had made a mess with adding copyvio images across a large number of articles (on multiple occasions). It was suggested that I requesting the rights for handling it easier in future. RachelTensions (talk) 05:54, 15 December 2024 (UTC)

Reason for requesting rollback rights: I'm quite active in the Recent Changes, and having the rollback feature would make reverting vandalism easier and quicker. jolielover♥talk 07:00, 15 December 2024 (UTC)

Hello I'm Ampil. I'm fighting vandalism again, and I'm quite active in the Recent Changes. I use AntiVandal tools like AntiVandal and Ultraviolet. After Fastily retired on November 19, 2024, I have more than 200 vandalism reverts in the last 4 months, and I meet all minimum requirements. The rollback rights would make it easier. declined requests:
- [1] The account age 2 weeks.

The reviewer's messages are not close to comprehendible.
