Wikipedia Loves Libraries is a series of outreach events between the Wikipedia community and libraries. This event will be held at the Grove Hall Branch of the Boston Public Library. It will include a tutorial on how to edit Wikipedia and an edit-a-thon! Particular focus will be given to articles on local history (specifically Grove Hall, Roxbury, and Dorchester), as well as African American history and persons. Event details[edit]
Transportation[edit]Please note that this event will be held at the Grove Hall Branch of the Boston Public Library, which is in Dorchester. The library is a 25 minute walk from the Fields Corner station on the Red Line, or you can take Bus #19 from Fields Corner to Geneva Ave & Jeremiah Burke High School. Alternatively, there are a number of other bus stops near the library. There is also a parking lot available for use. Participation[edit]If you are planning on attending, please sign up below. If you already have a Wikipedia username, you can use that. If you don't, you can use your real name or a pseudonym, whichever you're more comfortable with. Feel free to leave a short note after your name. To edit this page and insert your name, click the blue [Edit] link to the right of the word "Participation", on the grey line right above.
