Two Nine really out-dated pictures that need to have a good substitute

Article(s): Various

P.S. I am not really sure if this is the correct place to ask for it, but these two nine images are really bad for the current standards of the encyclopedia, and need to be substituted by an appropriate picture immediately (or removed). If my request is placed at the wrong place, please also send it to the correct place. 19:18, 9 December 2012 (UTC)

Wage Slavery Study Chart

Resolved
By the end of the 19th century both the use of the term wage slavery and its meaning declined.

Article: Wage slavery

Request: Hello I recently tried to make a image of a study with SVG and it clearly came out as a poorly rasterized file instead of a vector. If someone could vectorized it would be appreciated. --CartoonDiablo (talk) 19:33, 25 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In the horizontal axis, please check the numbers (years). There is period borders "1885 ... 1886" and "1890 ... 1890" together. Shouldn't they be similar (either diiffer or be the same)? -DePiep (talk) 13:08, 5 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Change variable name in aspheric lens diagram

Article(s): Aspheric lens

Request: Change the name of the variable from h to r, to match the formula in the article. This is more common notation, since the parameter illustrated is radius, not height. Srleffler (talk) 04:16, 6 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The new image looks good, but for some reason it is not propagating. I see it on the image description page on English Wikipedia, but not on Commons and not in the article. Some cache delay, perhaps?--Srleffler (talk) 04:50, 10 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I think the delay is in the commons-server. It has to prepare every new file into a png-file (the one that is put onto the page). This one is slow now indeed, but all we can add is patience. -DePiep (talk) 12:46, 10 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It seems to have propagated to the article on English WP now, although some other pages that use the image have not yet received the updated version. Thanks for your help..--Srleffler (talk) 03:07, 14 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hole Set

Resolved
 – Jon C (talk)

Article: Hole set

Request: Quite a bit - replace 4m with 5m (according to FINA rules since 2006), mark half-way line (white section), add length of pool (20-30m) and width (10-20m) and preferably draw to scale. It would be nice to mark on both sides too, but don't wear yourselves out! Thanks. JZCL 14:19, 17 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Graphist opinion(s): Hi JZCl - I noted the absence of a water polo pool setup in the main article, and drew one according to what I read in the article. Could you please comment on whether this is accurate? If it is, please insert into main Water Polo article, reply here, and I'll use this as a starting point for creating an illustration for the Hole Set article. Jon C (talk) 13:01, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much, it's an excellent start; definitely good enough to go on the article. One improvement: could you add in the re-entry area? It's probably best explained by the diagram here. The site is also useful for positions, including the hole set. Again, many thanks. JZCL 20:03, 24 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Done Thanks for the feedback and link. I've updated the diagram to include the players, goal-lines, and re-entry area. If this is suitable, please replace / add to the relevant articles and mark entry as resolved. Jon C (talk) 08:37, 17 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
