• The slanting light & shadow of the nominated version make for an atmospheric composition, conveying the feel of Baltic winters (and aiding contrast). Note that pic was taken in mid-January, when at that latitude (same as Stockholm's), sunset comes about 3 p.m. Compare to less shadowy example at right, IMO less interesting.
