Original – A Farewell to Arms is a 1932 American pre-Code romance drama film directed by Frank Borzage and starring Helen Hayes, Gary Cooper, and Adolphe Menjou, based on Hemingway's work of the same name. The film received Academy Awards for Best Cinematography and Best Sound.

Audio sync issue fixed, cropped

Reason: high resolution and quality copy of a notable film. First nomination. The file was deleted as the source novel was not yet in the public domain, and then undeleted on January 1st, 2025.
