WikiProject Yugoslavia was formed by Wikipedians to improve and expand the coverage of Yugoslavia-related articles on Wikipedia. This page provides a list of open tasks and suggestions to that end.

WikiProject Yugoslavia deals specifically with the following periods:

  1. 1835–1918: articles related to Yugoslav ideology in the period before and during World War I.
  2. 1918–1941: articles related to the period of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia (Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes).
  3. 1941–1945: articles related to World War II in Yugoslavia (Yugoslav People's Liberation War).
  4. 1945–1991: articles related to SFR Yugoslavia (post-1945, during peacetime).
  5. 1991–1995: articles related to the breakup of Yugoslavia and the three Yugoslav dissolution wars (the Ten-Day War, the Croatian War of Independence, and the Bosnian War, but not the post-1995 Kosovo and North Macedonia conflicts.)
  6. Post-breakup: articles related to concepts pertinent to Yugoslavia, such as Yugo-nostalgia and Yugosphere.

The scope of WikiProject Yugoslavia does not include:

  • articles concerning the post-1992 Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (FRJ) and/or the state of Serbia and Montenegro (SiCG)
  • articles concerning any aspect of post-1991 states emerging from the dissolution of Yugoslavia that does not concern the dissolution itself or the resulting conflicts
  • articles on post-1995 conflicts on former Yugoslav territory that took place after the Dayton Agreement
  • articles on modern-day settlements, countries and/or regions that were part of Yugoslavia during its existence
  • history articles of modern-day settlements, countries and/or regions that do not exclusively cover a period during which the place was a part of Yugoslavia
