Walker Eget is an American college football quarterback for the San Jose State Spartans.

Early life

Eget attended West Ranch High School located in Stevenson Ranch, California.[1] Coming out of high school, Eget was rated as a three-star recruit, where he decided to commit to play college football for the San Jose State Spartans.[2][3]

College career

During Eget's first three seasons from 2021 through 2023, Eget appeared in four games where he completed one of his nine pass attempts for eight yards, while also redshirting.[4][5][6][7] In week eight of the 2024 season, Eget got his first career start where he completed 20 of his 38 passes for 318 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions, as he helped lead the Spartans to a 24-14 win over the Wyoming Cowboys.[8] In week eleven, Eget threw for 395 yards and a touchdown, as he helped San Jose State clinch bowl eligibility by beating the Oregon State Beavers.[9]
