Welcome!
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! March 2017
[edit]Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source using an inline citation that clearly supports the material. The burden is on the person wishing to keep in the material to meet these requirements, as a necessary (but not always sufficient) condition. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. - LouisAragon (talk) 22:26, 5 March 2017 (UTC)
Please stop making disruptive edits, as you did at Brahui people.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. As well as on the Khanate of Kalat and on Brahui language articles, amongst others. - LouisAragon (talk) 22:27, 5 March 2017 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to move pages to bad titles contrary to naming conventions or consensus, you may be blocked from editing. CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Sunasuttuq 20:37, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
Your contributed article, Crown Princes of Pakistani Princely States, Minor States and Jagirs
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Crown Princes of Pakistani Princely States, Minor States and Jagirs. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Princely states of Pakistan. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Princely states of Pakistan – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. RA0808 talkcontribs 17:18, 12 March 2017 (UTC)
Minor edits
[edit]Hi, marking edits as "minor" is only for the most superficial modifications, like copyediting or formatting. Any edits that add, remove or modify content, or anything that you might expect some editors to disagree with, should not be marked as minor. You can read more at Help:Minor edit. – Uanfala 12:01, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
Do you know something about the Bugti tribe? Do you have any way of finding more sources for Nawab Mir Aali Saleem Akbar Khan Bugti? Note that a PROD tag is only supposed to be applied once. After it is removed for any reason you should not restore it. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 15:06, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
- You've been mentioned at User talk:EdJohnston#Your decline of a BLP-prod on Nawab Mir Aali Saleem Akbar Khan Bugti. You can respond there if you wish. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 13:25, 3 July 2017 (UTC)
Nomination of Nawab Mir Aali Saleem Akbar Khan Bugti for deletion
[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Nawab Mir Aali Saleem Akbar Khan Bugti is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nawab Mir Aali Saleem Akbar Khan Bugti until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. EdJohnston (talk) 15:30, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
'Nawab' in article titles
[edit]Hello Zardari123. In May you moved some articles to incorporate the title 'Nawab' in their names. Generally this is not done, because of MOS:HONORIFIC. For example, King George VI of England is just known as George VI. Occasionally a title will be included to resolve an ambiguity, but generally titles are kept only in the article text, not in the name of the article. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 13:32, 3 July 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Nawab Changez Khan Marri. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:
|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]
Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:
|image=SomeImage.jpg
.
There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption
. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! Zackmann08 (Talk to me/What I been doing) 23:14, 1 October 2017 (UTC)
Please do not use thumbnails inside of infoboxes as you did to Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri. Note that this is your second warning regarding this issue. Continuing to add thumbnails will be seen as disruptive editing. For more information please see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE. When adding an image, instead of doing:
|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]
You can simply supply the name of the image. So in this case just do:
|image=SomeImage.jpg
.
There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption
. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. [edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to to use thumbnails inside of infoboxes, as you did at His Highness Crown Prince Miangul Adnan Aurangzeb Khatana, you may be blocked from editing. Zackmann08 (Talk to me/What I been doing) 20:52, 2 December 2017 (UTC)

Honorifics
[edit]Please don't move articles to use Nawab or Mir (title). See Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Biographies#Honorifics). You can use them in the article but they would server the reader better if they were linked as many English only readers may not know what the honorifics are.
