Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Child sexual abuse, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Correcting or rewriting gender references

[edit]

Good evening! I fully understand that you are acting with good intentions, but please note that Wikipedia is written in neutral language based on authoritative sources and Wikipedia rules, and constantly changing wording or rewriting text due to the desire to make it softer and politically correct can often be excessive. In this regard, I would like you to read this disclaimer. In particular, I don't think you should constantly add quotation marks or rewrite any gender references, since they either have a clear and understandable context, or even without it, it's pretty intuitive that a particular term is relative. For example, just because Tomo-chan wants to become more feminine doesn't mean girls can't be masculine. Moreover, the show itself is a fairly straightforward satire of stereotypes about gender representation. Solaire the knight (talk) 15:09, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
