Subject: Explanation Regarding Edits Made to the Draft "Yehuda Glantz"
Dear Fanfanboy
My name is Yehuda Glantz, and I am writing in response to the feedback regarding edits I made to the draft on Wikipedia titled Draft: Yehuda Glantz. As the subject of this article, I would like to explain the changes I implemented and reaffirm my commitment to adhering to Wikipedia’s guidelines and policies.
First and foremost, my goal in making these edits was to ensure that the information presented about me is accurate, verifiable, and encyclopedic.
My intention is not self-promotion, but rather to contribute to the creation of an objective and well-documented article about my career and achievements.
The changes I made include:
Correcting inaccuracies: Some biographical details and accomplishments were outdated or incomplete, so I updated them with verified, reliable information.
Ensuring neutral tone: I adjusted the wording to align with Wikipedia’s encyclopedic style, removing any subjective or promotional language.
Adding references: I incorporated citations from credible, third-party sources such as news articles, interviews, reviews, and records of cultural activities in which I have participated to support the information provided.
I understand that, as the subject of the article, I have a potential conflict of interest. To ensure transparency and objectivity, I am fully committed to following Wikipedia’s established protocols, including:
Proposing edits on the article’s talk page rather than making direct changes, using the {{edit COI}} template when appropriate.
Providing accurate citations to reliable, independent sources for all claims.
Avoiding links to my personal website or making edits for promotional purposes.
I welcome feedback and am open to collaborating with other Wikipedia editors to ensure the content complies with the platform’s policies and standards.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I am happy to provide further clarification or suggestions on how to proceed appropriately with this draft.
Sincerely,
Yehuda Glantz

Thanks for the clarification. However, I would recommend not using that template in talk pages as it would add your user page to Category:Wikipedia_conflict_of_interest_edit_requests, making it look like someone your requesting an edit there fanfanboy (blocktalk) 14:32, 24 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I've nowiki'd it. Rusalkii (talk) 20:28, 24 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Would also like to note that it probably won't be me making edits to the article. I'm just someone who spends their time on making sure bad edits get reverted. fanfanboy (blocktalk) 15:26, 24 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
