Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Parinda you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Jaguar -- Jaguar (talk) 20:40, 18 November 2017 (UTC)
The article Parinda you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needing to be addressed. If these are fixed within 7 days, the article will pass; otherwise it may fail. See Talk:Parinda for things which need to be addressed. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Jaguar -- Jaguar (talk) 15:40, 19 November 2017 (UTC)
@Ssven2: Consider it done. BTW, can you please do the source review of this FLC of mine? I know you don't review nowadays and all, but this is a very small list with only 40 refs and won't take much time. I'd really appreciate it. Yashthepunisher (talk) 17:19, 20 November 2017 (UTC)
Its been like an year I have been inactive in Wikipedia. Today, I did notice you had expanded the article of Neeti Mohan with what I have written in one of my draft page. Just wanted to make sure, if you want to expand the article. If so, is it possible for you to check what I have written in the page, specially grammar (since my English is quite bad) so that I can work on expanding it.
Hello @Shaphiu: Its great to hear from you after so long :). Yes, I have copy-pasted the "Early life" from your draft to the parent article because you were not active recently and the article is in bad shape. Since, now you are back, I'd suggest you to resume your work on her article and I will surely help. You can transfer the content of your draft in Mohan's article and I will perform a copy-edit if needed.Yashthepunisher (talk) 13:40, 26 November 2017 (UTC)
@Shaphiu: Great work! I have performed some minor copy-edit on this article. Just do two things: Try to expand the size of the lead and mention the authors name instead of their publishers while mentioning direct quotations. Yashthepunisher (talk) 15:54, 27 November 2017 (UTC)
Hello Again. I wanted your view on something. As we can see all the articles with List of songs recorded by Indian Playback singers, we can see the songs sorted year wise; Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan,Arijit Singh and every other lists. But when we look at featured lists articles of Ricky Martin, Madonna, Taylor Swift and goes on, the lists are sorted alphabetically, with a different style. It might be because number of songs recorded by Indian singers are more (by a large extent) than these celebrities, hence broke down into sections year wise. So, what do you think would be he best way to design the lists of these articles. Any comment? Shaphiu (talk) 09:46, 2 December 2017 (UTC)
Would you like to list your name there? The goal of it is to reach 1000 articles. Your recent creations/expansions/GAs and featured lists can be listed here. --Kailash29792(talk)15:31, 27 November 2017 (UTC)
I, — Ssven2, hereby award Yashthepunisher, the Film Brnstar for his work on Wazir and Parinda, especially the latter, which is the first Hindi cinema GA from the 80s on Wikipedia!
Awarded 09:25, 28 November 2017 (UTC)
Thank you so much for the barnstar @Ssven2: and I think you wanted to write "the first Hindi cinema GA from the 80s". BTW, congrats to you too on your FL which appeared on the main page. Cheers! Yashthepunisher (talk) 11:11, 28 November 2017 (UTC)
Thank you for that. Madras was a big turnaround for Karthi as he got roles that had more scope for acting after that. I am planning to watch Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru sometime soon. Heard it is really good and has one of his best performances till date. BTW, do you plan on taking Parinda to FA? If so, it would be a milestone for Indian Cinema as far as Wikipedia is concerned as all other decades of talking pictures from India (right from the 1930s to 2010s) have FAs. Otherwise, other viable alternatives are Mr. India, QSQT, Chandni and MPK. — Ssven2Looking at you, kid13:12, 28 November 2017 (UTC)
Yes, I recently saw Kaatru Veliyidai and his performance was amazing in the film. As far as Parinda is concerned, I think it will need some expansion for FA. BTW, are you gonna resume your work on Jodha Akbar? Yashthepunisher (talk) 13:42, 28 November 2017 (UTC)

In an article published by The Hindu, it says ""Tabassumji noticed my ability and asked me to come to Mumbai, where I met Kalyanji Bhai. My real name is Nidhi Chauhan, but he felt that Sonali and Sadhana were lucky and changed my name to Sunidhi," Is this information relevant to be included in her article. How can I phrase it in a better way! Do we need to include those names too! Shaphiu (talk) 08:40, 5 December 2017 (UTC)
Hi there. Only if you're interested, I nominated a short article for good status and I was wondering if you might be willing to review it. --Harout (talk) 20:27, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

A page you started (Aapla Manus) has been reviewed!
Wikipedia editor Abishe just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:
Hello Yashthepunisher: Enjoy the holiday season, and thanks for your work to maintain, improve and expand Wikipedia. Cheers, Abishe (talk) 10:39, 27 December 2017 (UTC)
Ugly was quite an intense affair. Well, Yash I couldn't help but notice that there are too many problems with the prose of the article. The plot and the Marketing section that i went through have colloquial sentences one after the other. I am not to sure about the rest of the article either. I do not know if I should bring them up at GAR with another reviewer already discussing their concerns. I can point some of the more problematic parts from the article if you wish to revise them at this point. Whatever suits you best. NumerounovedantTalk18:37, 31 December 2017 (UTC)
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Thuppakki, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Amazon (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
Hi Yashthepunisher! You left some comments on my Daft PunkFLC a while ago and I just wanted to let you know I responded to them just in case you were unaware I had. Thanks very much for the comments. Happy editing and happy new year! BeatlesLedTV (talk) 20:42, 1 January 2018 (UTC)
BeatlesLedTV I have not seen editors providing support at the end of a source review. They are just to check the quality of references used in the article. Good luck with the nomination and a happy new year to you too! Yashthepunisher (talk) 05:23, 2 January 2018 (UTC)
BTW, it is indeed a must-watch film. You'll like it very much as many have misunderstood it when it first released, even though Haasan blames piracy, which I really don't believe is THE reason. — Ssven2Looking at you, kid11:37, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
Hi Yashthepunisher. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Beeblebrox (talk) 18:35, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
Hi Yashthepunisher! Thanks for your contributions! In reply of your response on my edit, I say I will disagree you. As, I have been an editor at a GA Dear Zindagi (by User:Mr. Smart LION) and several other film articles (also under supervision of an admin User:Cyphoidbomb), I made some edits on this page too. However, you didn't take my edits as good faith and said while reverting, "Reverted 2 edits by M.Billoo2000 (talk): That's not the way it is. (TW)" I don't consider this as a valid reply of yours. Here is what I have to say,
There is a WP:NOPIPE, [[Film soundtrack|Feature film soundtrack]].
There is no release date for soundtrack.
Where does ref#31 point?
No reference in the page points towards the soundtrack (as per I know).
I linked two references for soundtrack, one YouTube and other iTunes.
{{iTunes|us/album/ugly-original-motion-picture-soundtrack-ep/956172801|''Ugly'' (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) - EP by G. V. Prakash Kumar}}
The correct name of a song is "Nichod De", not "Ni Chod De".
I don't know if you let me edit there which you consider as GA, but I could report you for your WP:TWABUSE. Any valid comment, or again revert here? Thanks! M.Billoo14:58, 23 January 2018 (UTC)
That's too much of a sanctimonious attitude. The reason I wasn't able to revert your edit in good faith is because it was a rollblock. I don't know why you are telling me the things you have done here. Now coming back to the points you raised *Yes I've had enough of the WP:XYZ crap here, that's barely relevant to the quality of any article. *There is no release date mentioned, because I wasn't able to find one. *Ref 31 is to back the sentence, that's what references do. *These should be placed in the article's body, instead of the external link section. There is a way to sort things out, but threatening someone of report is not one of them. I have been taking articles to GA/FL for more than three years for now. I guess one less editor like me will be beneficial for you and WP. Yashthepunisher (talk) 15:41, 23 January 2018 (UTC)
OK, Thanks and/but Sorry! Seems like you have reverted the whole edit without checking completely. I have already seen that you have updated many articles to GA, and that's good thing! But if you haven't replied here (you replied) then I would probably do something else to resolve.
If you only had problem with "These should be placed in the article's body, instead of the external link section", you might only have corrected this. Instead, I think you haven't checked the links I gave, that clarify the release date as well as song names, like "Nichod De" (which I also had not corrected then but cited for maybe you).
For ref#31, I said it had no |url= then, which I think I had provided in infobox after; how could a ref back the sentence without url? And for infobox, why can "|prev_title=|prev_year=" and similar (next) not be used instead of "|last album="? I thought you may guide me. Thanks! M.Billoo16:52, 23 January 2018 (UTC)
OK. But why are you not correcting the so called "WP:XYZ crap" (nopipe) and the song name? Or let me edit there. And what is the problem in adding YouTube jukebox link? M.Billoo03:19, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
I have changed the song name. It was Nichod De when I had nominated it, someone changed it somewhere. But, the film soundtrack bit does seem necessary to me. Also, can you show any example of a film GA which has its jukebox link placed in the soundtrack section? Yashthepunisher (talk) 12:07, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
Above said already, "As, I have been an editor at a GA Dear Zindagi (by User:Mr. Smart LION) and several other film articles (also under supervision of an admin User:Cyphoidbomb)". Well, you maybe right that iTunes could be WP:ELNO, however, I have already added it in many other film articles. In some of them, I have seen that iTunes has been removed from external links, but still I can see the jukebox there. Also, when I check the film articles, this is the mistake I find and try to correct, [[Film soundtrack|Feature film soundtrack]], and this is also in Ugly which you haven't fixed yet. Thanks! M.Billoo15:55, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
Fine, you can change the NOPIPE bit, but I still don't feel that adding jukebox link in the external link section is mandatory. Hope this conversation will end now. Yashthepunisher (talk) 16:27, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
"jukebox link in the external link section"? I said YouTube jukebox in Soundtrack infobox like as mentioned in GA Dear Zindagi. Have you checked that GA? I think you mixed up two points, the other point was either to mention iTunes in external links or in sountrack section. Well, I agree on your addition of iTunes. Thanks! M.Billoo02:25, 25 January 2018 (UTC)
Congratulations
Congratulations on getting Ugly to GA, Yash! It'll be really strong after a GOCE copyedit. I was wondering if you could possibly review Margarita with a Straw too? I'd be happy to help with any reviews in return. Let me know. VedantTalk17:41, 9 January 2018 (UTC)
Yes, the first! I am sure you'll get many more. I went through Padma Bhushan yesterday; it's a little complex for my understanding, or so it seemed. I'll read again and leave comments soon. I have nominatedMargarita with a Straw. Thanks for agreeing to review, you're such a sport Yash. VedantTalk12:22, 10 January 2018 (UTC)
Thank you so much for the review Yash! I wanted to apologise; I don't think I'll be of much use on the Padma Bhushan list as I am completely unfamiliar with such works. I couldn't come up with anything productive, having gone through it thrice now. Let me know if there is anything else you might need help with at all. I'm sorry again, good luck with it. VedantTalk16:48, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
I would appreciate your comments as always, Yash. Its my first attempt at a Bollywood awards list. Do let me know if you wish to leave comments at the FLC by pinging me. Thanks. — Ssven2Looking at you, kid08:19, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
Happy Pongal, Makar Sankranti, Lohri and Bihu to you!
Yash, I'm afraid I had to decline one of your Wikicup submissions, as all the work you've put in on it this year has been on comments from the GA review, which was in fact begun last year. Please see this clarification, and let me know if you have further questions. Thanks for improving that article in any case. Regards, Vanamonde (talk) 17:17, 14 January 2018 (UTC)
Force Radical I'm already in the middle of a GAN and doesn't have the strength and experience to conduct a review for an article of this size. I'll have to politely decline this one. But you can ask User:Jaguar for the review. Also, congrats for your TFL and Happy Makar Sankranti to you too. Yashthepunisher (talk) 06:02, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
Congrats on all your points at the Wikicup. It would be great if you review Trapped, but currently its at the GOCE and I can't nominate it before the copy-edit in completed. Yashthepunisher (talk) 12:45, 17 January 2018 (UTC)

I wanted to work on a few of articles; a couple of Punjabi movies/actors/artists and was wondering if you'd be familiar with any. Angrej is an absolute gem, if you can understand Punjabi. VedantTalk19:45, 22 January 2018 (UTC)
In that case, you should really watch Angrej, if you can get your hands on it. Coming back to the point, is there any reliable source for information on Punjabi movies that you know of? I usually pick up info (crew members, runtime, complete cast) form Bollywood Hungama, but that would not be possible here. VedantTalk11:13, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
Hey, Yash. Would you be interested in reviewing Angrej for GAR? I am almost done with the article, maybe a day or two more. Let me know. VedantTalk06:54, 12 March 2018 (UTC)
King Prithviraj II In that case Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na should be called JTYJN, My Name is Khan as MNIK or Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro as JBDY. I can give you references to back the aforementioned as well. But, that doesn't justify that the film is famously quoted in its abbreviated form. For example, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is also "known" as DDLJ. I hope your are getting my point. Yashthepunisher (talk) 10:20, 23 January 2018 (UTC)
Uhg. The very next section in the book that you quoted calls Koi... Mil Gaya by KMG. Its just the writers being lazy. Its not called that in that WP article though, is it? Please don't set precedents for every three word film to be abbreviated. I have never heard it called OSO verbally, as is DDLJ all the time. A google search for OSO does not immediately find this film, as it does for some others. Bollyjeff|talk22:50, 23 January 2018 (UTC)
INRConvert
Hi Yash, re: this edit, the Indian cinema task force stopped using INRConvert in the infobox about a year and a half ago. The major reasons were that it creates problems with inflation when we convert a 2016 film's gross to whatever the modern day's US dollar is worth. And while the INRConvert template has a built in inflation adjuster, it results in far too much information being presented in the infobox. Just the gross would take up 3 lines. The infobox is supposed to be a simple summary of information, so we can get into those details elsewhere in the article. If you're interested in the background on it, feel free to search WT:ICTF's archives. Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 05:30, 25 January 2018 (UTC)
Okay, should I mention the budget of Indian films just like its in Neerja's article then? But I feel INRConvert are pretty convenient, as they provide the budget info in both INR and USD. Yashthepunisher (talk) 06:26, 25 January 2018 (UTC)
These days we typically present budget and gross as ₹NN crore. You can use INRConvert elsewhere in the article, if you like. It's just the infobox where it was a problem. Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:15, 25 January 2018 (UTC)
Let's add less number of images of people from film industry. Dharma and I wanted to have focus on people from other industries/fields. If someone has added it earlier, we would clean it up. Just a though. - Vivvt (Talk) 09:26, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
Yes apart from that, Bhoot, Sarkar and the Darna Mana Hai series are also quite good. But now he has completely lost his mojo, doing these kind of weird shits. Yashthepunisher (talk) 16:08, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
There's no sign of recuperation anytime soon. I don't think that he would consider one. He is happy in his own way. What we might call self-destruction is penance for him. ;-) Pavanjandhyala16:13, 31 January 2018 (UTC)

Very typical for a 14 edit old editor to accuse me of "vandalism". You haven't "included" any "appropriate references", you have simply removed references for the sentence and its archive link. I don't know why you are doing this but you should stop now. Yashthepunisher (talk) 04:02, 7 February 2018 (UTC)
I'm currently on a sabbatical from full-fledged editing (this is a mobile edit). Can you please find a way to correctly arrange everything at the Bollywood portal while retaining the numbered bulleting? --Kailash29792(talk)08:43, 9 February 2018 (UTC)

Court was also selected as India's official submission for the 88th Academy Awards in the Best Foreign Language Film category but it was not nominated. There are many notable facts about this film, but this doesn't seem to be notable enough for inclusion in the lead. The 18 awards it won are enough, I don't see the sense in giving this much space in the lead to an award it didn't win.
FYI, in the plot section, it's preferred not to have parenthetical notes of the actors playing the roles. That's what the cast section is for, and it's felt redundant to have it in two places especially when the sections tend to follow one another.
There was one quote over 40 words which I put into a blockquote (MOS:BQ).
The Casting and filming section was a bit scattered; I reordered the material to try and make it more coherent (ie: pre-production, crew, cast, filming, controversies).
Since there are two people named Desai working on the film, please check that it's clear which of them is being referenced when only the surname is used.
Under the section Premiere it mentions "Unam Internationa Film Festival" which appear to be the same thing as the FICUNAM International Film festival under Accolades (see this). If they refer to the same thing, use the same name for them.
Hey Yash, I've nominated the article. I know that your comments were resolved at the GAR, but it has underwent a copy edit since (as you suggested). I was wondering if you could take a look. Let me know, thank you. VedantTalk15:04, 24 February 2018 (UTC)

The matter is about this. I too used to practice such editing but it is of no significance. Please don't add such phrases unless you had read it in any cited news/web that the name is stylized as such. There can also be an edit war over the spelling of stylized.
