Nominating our new Counsel
Seems a good idea to me, thanks for thinking of it! He said he'd accept. If you changed your mind, I'll do it... just let me know. ++Lar: t/c 19:26, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
Tila's album
How was the name already proven? I really don't get it because this album is NOT The Sex EP. The Sex EP is a different album that was released on March 20, 2007 by The Saturday Team. Tila has yet to release this album we're talking about in the "Tila Tequila debut album" article, she's been working on this one for a good two years now and still hasn't told us when it's gonna be released or anything. I'm thinking about renaming the article back to Tila Tequila debut album. ― LADY GALAXY ★彡 Refill/lol 17:12, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 19:08, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
Deletion of Wikipedia:How to use the GIMP
I see per the deletion log that you deleted this page on 31 July with CSD A5, "Transwikied articles". I'm puzzled because this page wasn't an article, so the A-series codes don't apply, and further because A5 requires a deletion discussion, and I found none in the MFD archives. Could you explain further why this page was deleted? -- John Broughton (♫♫) 19:52, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry to bother you again, but if I don't get a response in a day or two, I'm going to ask other administrators to review your decision. -- John Broughton (♫♫) 13:19, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
Kosovo Liberation Army KLA
Hi WikiLeon!
Just cannot seem to get my eyes of this page... A few concerns:
1. When I click links added to this page, they frequently do not show what they claim to show (ie "Sunday Times March 12 2000" - there is no article on that date - I checked.) I fully understand what you are trying to do, and I support it. But wouldn't it be better if somebody actually checked the links? (I am not going to pretend I am impartial, I am not, neither, do I believe, are anybody obsessing about these issues)...!
2. Also wondering whether we are prescribing to any sort of "3 time verification of sources" - rule, (good journalism? - Andrew Gilligan didn't but...)
3. If you allow Serbian govt docs to be used as 'sources', then you should also allow KLA files to be used as sources, (which in the end would result in a complete muddle of 'Serb word against KLAs' so isn't it then better to rule out both on the grounds that they are too intermangled in the conflict?
Sorry, know I'm a novice, but just wondering:-)
Thanks,Tjuppa 20:12, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
FYI, you blocked this user for a week a few days ago. He was caught using a sock puppet to edit in circumvention of his block, so I reblocked him for a week starting today because he hasn't stopped his behavior. Since it was your block initially, I owed you an explanation. Carlossuarez46 20:44, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
PLEASE HELP!!! the article has necolonial point of view, to Russian in Kazakhstan, and hints that Russia must annex the part of Kazakhstan's territory. As the reason the article claims "discrimination" of Russian in Kazakhstan, and uses neo-nazy sources and reviews with full ignoring Human Rights Watch reviews, that have no notice of racial discrimination.
- Unfortinatelly the administrators of Russian Wiki fully ignores non-neutrality of the article, as it has waste of sources (especially with neo-nazy pont of view)
- DO NOT DELETE IT! I HAVE NO OTHER PLACE TO COMPLAIN!!!!! Russian Adiministartors fully ignores this non-neutrality!
- I can't help you if I can't speak the language --wL<speak·check> 21:28, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
An important letter
Dear roads editor,
You may have noticed some changes at WP:USRD lately. Some of them, like the cleanup templates and the stub templates, have been astounding and great. Unfortunately, others have been disturbing.
This has become evidenced by the departure of a few prominent editors at USRD, a few RFC's, and much fighting among USRD editors.
After the second RFC, many of us found the opportunity to take a step away from Wikipedia for a while--as a self-imposed wikibreak, or possibly on vacation.
The result of such introspection was that many of us were placing ourselves in a "walled garden" and on a self-imposed pedestal of authority over the roads department. Also, we were being hostile to a few users who were not agreeing with us.
In fact, IRC has been the main incarnation of this "walled garden." Decisions have been made there to conduct grudges and prejudices against a few valued USRD users with poor justification.
For this, we have come to apologize. We have come to ask your forgiveness.
In addition to this, we hope to work as one USRD team from now on and to encourage cooperation instead of the promotion of interests.
All users are welcome to collaborate on IRC, the newsletter, or anywhere else at USRD.
In the future, please feel free to approach us about any issues you may have.

User talk:POOPYPOOPYpoopy
Good evening (BST time); I've been clearing out Category:Temporary Wikipedian userpages, and came across the above talk page. Isn't your edit summary ("...you lose...") a little unnecessary? That isn't really the conduct of an experienced Wikipedian, I'd say...

Balls4balls (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)
I have heard that kind of language before, like "someone cuts your balls off cut theirs off." What do you think? I reported it but it got removed. Cheers, JetLover (talk) 22:57, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
WP:UFA
Hi, WikiLeon, and thanks for the advice. What I've found is that when an editor creates an account with a company name, he or she almost invariably turns around and authors a spam article about the company. Requesting a username block just saves you guys the trouble of having to speedy the article when it comes -- which, in my experience, it almost always does. Cheers! --Rrburke(talk) 23:07, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

Sock of blocked account
Hi WikiLeon. Just FYI - It seems you blocked Wellreadone (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) for spamming. The same user appears to be back as an IP 66.245.226.92 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log) whose edits appear to be almost entirely to add links to his own articles. Some articles may be appropriate, but additions seem to be clearly about promoting the author rather than necessarily improving the articles. -- SiobhanHansa 17:02, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

The change you made to {{ambox}}
This change broke the template. The styling you added overrode the styling already in MediaWiki:Common.css; it seeems identical to that styling, except that you overrode the left border (which is kind of the point behind the styling in the first place). I've undone it; why were you trying to make the change? --ais523 16:29, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
- Try bypassing your cache, as the CSS was added very recently to the sitewide CSS and it's possible you have an old version. Styles inline on the template will always override styles added via classes, so the change you made removed the left border altogether; if you see no styling, it's almost certainly that you have an old version of the CSS. (I tested the version both with and without your change on both IE7 and Firefox 2, the two browsers I have to hand at the moment.) --ais523 16:34, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

USRD Inactivity check and news report
Hello, WikiLeon. We had a few urgent matters to communicate to you:
- Please update your information at Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. Roads/Participants, our new centralized participant list. Those who have not done so by October 20th will be removed.
- There are important discussions taking place at WT:USRD relating to whether WP:USRD, WP:HWY, or the state projects should hold the "power" in the roads projects.

User Vinvinkid
Considering this users latest addition of untrue info to Eliseo Soriano I have now banned him indefinitely. Will be interesting to see who makes similar edits using a different name. Moriori 03:02, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
- I strongly object to the message you left on Vinvinkid's talk page which stated I am "involved in an edit dispute with you". I am not in an edit dispute with him/her or any other of the numerous socks/users who have spammed/vandalised Eliseo Soriano. Personalities are irrelevant. I was editing for Wiki, not against other editors. My edits have conformed to Wiki ideals of objectivity, impartiality and encyclopedic standards. Any examination of them will show this is true. I tried to get help to protect the integrity of this article, but to no avail. Be bold! What a laugh. No wonder Wikipedia is poo pooed in so many quarters. Moriori 07:17, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
Clay
Hi. Thank you for your message and offer of assistance. I am grateful for your constructive input. I have not added anything. I have simply replaced text which has been removed. This removed text was not mine, it was the result of the input & agreement of a number of editors. I have simply tried to prevent one contributor editting the article to reflect a single point of view. Supporting references to the removed text whad been provided, but these were criticsed and also removed. This event does rather supports a criticism of Wikipedia that is widespread in academic circles: that is equal weighting is given to contributions made by people with little knowledge & experience of the subject as to those with recognised proficiency. Thank you again. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.153.65.237 (talk) 18:31, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
Added later: Hi. I just found bit of guidance from Wikipeida itself: "Deleting useful content. A piece of content may be written poorly, yet still have a purpose. Consider what a sentence or paragraph tries to say. Clarify it instead of throwing it away." This is pretty much what I have been saying all along. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.153.65.237 (talk) 21:39, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
Categorizing independence activists as terrorists
Do you find categorizing An Jung-geun and Yoon Bong-Gil as terrorists vandalous? I pretty much find it so. It's a racist attack. Then is it legitimate for me to give user:LactoseTI vandalism warnings & later report to WP:AIV? I'm afraid that LactoseTI will do a good job of shielding his racist POV vandalism as a POV dispute. (Wikimachine 21:49, 26 September 2007 (UTC))
No Woman, No Cry edits
I am nt sure the song being used is appropriate, as it barely resembles Marley's tune. As I am guessing that Tila Tequila doesn't really have the rights to the song, it miht be better to actually use Marley's version. I have both the Natty dread and live versions of the song, but am unsure how to upload Marely's original and in what format, Since you uploaded it, let me know, and I will make it happen immediately. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 13:44, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

Your userbox
Hello, I came across a userbox you created. → Template:User hyphy. It's not very encyclopedic and shouldn't be in the template: namespace. I didn't put it up for deletion yet, but please move this to the user: namespace. Thank you. Rocket000 05:27, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
I noticed you restored this page. After the AFD, there was an RFD that resulted in deletion. I deleted "Last measure" per the deletion of "Last Measure" since it was the same situation; I just forgot to include it in the original RFD. I don't want to undo your restore without discussing it with you first, so let me know what you think. I can list it at RFD if you would prefer. IMO, this is a pointless redirect to Shock site because the topic isn't actually covered there (I believe it was at the time of the AFD, but that has since been removed per WP:V & WP:N) so now it just dumps people out at Shock site with no indication of what Last measure is. There were a couple other redirects like this to from other websites that got merged to Shock sites and you can see editors/ips on the talkpage asking what Lemon Party/Meatspin/<insert shock site here> is and why it isn't on the page. It's probably better off they are all salted pages rather than redirects until the time they are actually covered in Shock site.--Isotope23 talk 12:30, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Hi. I saw, that you nominated Denise Milani for deletion because person was not notable by Wikipedia standards. Please can you check the Article Claudia Ciesla for deletion too?? I think that she is not notable by Wikipedia standards too. Thank you for your time! Wiki-nightmare 07:11, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
- I removed your proposed deletion of that article. Article (barely) survived AFD two weeks ago, therefore article can't be a candidate for proposed deletion. Garion96 (talk) 17:09, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
- If that's the case, I won't be able to nominate it for deletion unless something major changes. There's also deletion review if you feel that the decision was wrong. --wL<speak·check> 17:52, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
Sorry - not sure how that happened, except I was editing from a creaky old Apple Mac rather than my usual machine. You could, however, have looked at my contribution history and assumed good faith rather than labelling it as vandalism. Gordonofcartoon 03:20, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
