Planets
[edit]Excellent work with the planet lists so far; I'm glad that a fellow editor has interest in fixing/reducing the star wars fancruft :) Deckiller 03:26, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the compliment. I had to look up "fancruft" though, heh. I've deleted a few extraneous sentences here and there, but not that much. -- wacko2 18:24, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
- Hey, if you're interested in organizing, cleaning, and merging the star wars pages, check out Wikipedia:Wikiproject/List of proposed projects and look for Star Wars; we're starting a WikiProject soon for that stuff. Deckiller 03:55, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
- I've joined the proposed Star Wars Wikiproject. My main focus will likely be List of Star Wars planets, since almost everything I do revolves around that list in some manner! *grin* -- wacko2 05:36, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
Project
[edit]The StarWars WikiProject will be starting soon, here is what I have down so far: User:Deckiller/WikiProject Star Wars. We have 7-9 people interested so far. Deckiller 21:48, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

Star Wars Wikiproject
[edit]Hello! Thank you for participating in the Star Wars Wikiproject. The participants section has recently been changed so it would be appreciated that you put the template {{User Star Wars WikiProject}} onto your Userpage so that you appear in Category:WikiProject Star Wars members. That way you appear in the listing of WikiProject Star Wars members. Jedi6 04:39, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
- Done. -- wacko2 05:11, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

References
[edit]Hey, good work with the citations. I plan on adding some more major JA characters tonight/over the weekend, and I've finally gotten the swing of how the planet list articles are broken down, so wikify should be less of a task for you :) Deckiller 20:12, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. I'll be gone this weekend, but I'd be more than happy to look over your stuff next week. :D -- wacko2 04:23, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
Heir to the Empire
[edit]Thanks for replying and letting me know about the orginal entry. I added it in to Heir to the Empire. Do you like that I made a listing of all the different edition of the book or should i delete it? Tutmosis 03:20, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
- You know, I'm really not sure. On one hand, it might be nice to have a complete list of the different editions of a particular book. But on the other hand, such a list could get quite lengthy if there are many different editions. This is actually the case for Heir to the Empire: there are hardcovers, paperbacks, audio cassettes, comic book adaptations, etc. Maybe check out this list to get an idea of the potential complexity (scroll down to see the editions). If you want to tackle that sort of thing, it might be better to only list the first hardcover, the first paperback, etc. Then again, it probably would be easier to leave all that stuff out and just list the orginal edition as the source. If you're undecided, you should probably get some more opinions from other people who have been around longer than I have. -- wacko2 03:54, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
- Wow thats alot. Yea that page made me have second thoughts. For the ISBN code and the publisher do we just use the very first edition then? Also personally I would agree that the Versions section can go. The Related Books I would suggest stay, such as the source book since we cant make articles for each of those. Tutmosis 04:03, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, use the first edition for the ISBN and the publisher. As well, I agree that the Related Books section can stay. The sourcebook and the comic adaptation are both excellent examples of related books. -- wacko2 04:13, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
- Okay I removed Versions. Article still is bare and in need of expansion. Tutmosis 04:32, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
- I would expand the article, but alas, I don't own the book. As a matter of fact, I've never even read it. I really should pick up the whole trilogy sometime. -- wacko2 04:40, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
Award
[edit]Thanks for the award, Jedi6! I noticed that you kind of look after List of Star Wars books. What I'm trying to do right now is get List of Star Wars references up to that same standard. Once that's accomplished, then we can discuss a merge or whatever needs to be done. -- wacko2 02:40, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

No problem
[edit]The article in question has been transferred (or will be shortly) to User:Wacko2/List of Star Wars references. You are correct -- I should have left it to be merged, as there was not enough consensus. My apologies. Once you are finished with said page, please leave a note on my talk page so that I may delete its. Cheers! Ian Manka Talk to me! 05:12, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
- To clarify, once you are finished merging the relevant information from your subpage, please contact me so I can delete the subpage. Ian Manka Talk to me! 05:34, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
A New Project?
[edit]Hey, Wacko2! If you're interested in Star Wars stuff, I've got a great new project for you! Check out the article Duel in the Senate. It's full of broken (red) links and it's generally in bad shape. I've done as much work as I can with it for now; if you'd like to take over, feel free. Wikiisawesome 13:51, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
