Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Midjourney, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Per WP:ELMIN, Wikipedia doesn't list social media accounts when a company has a main website: it's assumed that that main website has those links. Belbury (talk) 17:05, 28 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please do bear this in mind. You added Twitter/Instagram/YouTube social media links to the ElevenLabs article today, but a single link to the company's home page is sufficient. Belbury (talk) 16:07, 30 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

AI template

[edit]

Hi Viktor Guer,

I saw your contributions on Template:Artificial intelligence (AI). I wanted to note that the title Template:Artificial intelligence navbox seems more appropriate here. Alenoach (talk) 21:48, 26 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Renewable energy.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Renewable energy.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Here is a list of your uploads. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sreejith K (talk) 05:31, 1 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

December 2024

[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to Template:Artificial intelligence navbox did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account, you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary (or the default undo summary), and then click the "Save" button. Also, edits like this one, which replaced a template name with a template redirect name, are not useful. Please do not make such edits.Jonesey95 (talk) 05:57, 7 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox screenshots

[edit]

Hi, I see you're moving screenshots out of software infoboxes on AI subjects, but I can't tell why you're doing it because you aren't writing any edit summaries. What's your thinking here? Belbury (talk) 11:54, 15 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please use edit summaries
