Draft

[edit]

Please don't remove the comments on a draft that is submitted for review. I think you are going to find it very difficult to get the article through as it is. To be included as an article here, it must have multiple reliable sources that give it significant coverage. Reliable sources means mainstream sources that are vetted, not small blogs or specialty websites. This is true for all article at Wikipedia. After doing a cursory look, I could not find sources that would help you in this. Not every band is eligible for inclusion, only those that meet the same criteria for inclusion as all other article subjects. Dennis Brown - 00:55, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Dennis, thanks for the feedback. Apologies for deleting the comments, I've been copying and pasting from a word doc as it's a little easier on the eyes and overwrote the article (with comments) in it's entirety. Still new here, but I'm picking it up and learning. I think I find the vetting process for approved articles a little confusing as some of the standards can be viewed as open to interpretation and background knowledge on specific topics goes a long way in determining what qualifies as reputable. I do appreciate you being up front that you don't think the article will pass to save me time. I'm trying to find semi notable bands to make pages for, more specifically signed bands on larger indie or major record labels that have seen success but don't have a page. Being I've seen local level unsigned bands with 5-10 press articles from non reputable sources with approved, it's a bit unclear where the "line" is to pass an article. I'm sure everyone here has certain preferences on what they look for, but the inconsistency is a little disconcerting, especially when a lot of time can go into to something such as this. Thanks for being upfront though. Velocxty98 (talk) 01:13, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
