This is a relatively small addition, though the Mangroves page is already fairly complete. I like the two examples of species found there, but it is just a start. One possible avenue to explore would be to review what is known about the biodiversity of species who use these habitats. Within the "Mangrove forests" section it mentions that 174 species use them. Can you offer more details? Terrestrial including insects vs. marine including sharks, fish, etc.? That number (174 spp.) is probably a global tally, but what about locally - what is known about the diversity of a local mangrove forest? Jeffcorbin518 (talk) 17:57, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The "birds feeding" section holds promise, though it sounds like an example of an ecological interaction. Can you find info about it that is more general, e.g. applying across the global range of mangroves? Jeffcorbin518 (talk) 17:58, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
