ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:29, 19 November 2024 (UTC)

New merge/notability discussion at Brian Thompson (businessman)
[edit]Hello there! I noticed you recently participated in a discussion of a requested move for the article Brian Thompson (businessman). That discussion was closed without an ultimate consensus decision for procedural reasons. There is a new discussion open on the article talk page, and all participants in the prior move discussion are encouraged to participate. Thank you! FlipandFlopped ツ 22:27, 8 December 2024 (UTC)
- Will do, thanks Trillfendi (talk) 03:47, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
December 2024
[edit]Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - I don’t know if you need glasses or coffee but that edit wasn’t made by me… let alone I haven’t edited that page in over 3 years. Trillfendi (talk) 16:03, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hate coffee, have glasses, and the ability to show you the edit you made then.[1].
- Where in the source does it back your edit saying ". The dress's designer, Aurora James, also invited her boyfriend Benjamin Bronfman, the son of a billionaire. Critics, both conservative and liberal, rebuked Ocasio-Cortez for attending an event where guests were not required to wear masks (employees and event staff were required to do so), and one known for its opulent display of wealth and social status. She responded"? I've checked and can't find boyfriend, masks, etc. in the NYT article. Doug Weller talk 17:01, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
- And your edit summary, "people are foaming at the mouth about this", is entirely inappropriate. Doug Weller talk 17:03, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
- Look, I don't know what possessed you to come to my talk page about some random edit I made 1,186 days ago, showing me a diff between two editors I've never interacted with. But I truly don't care, let alone never asked for your admonishment over how I comported myself 3 years ago. If you want to remove or change anything I did... 3 years ago... over something I never got into any conflict about, you don't need my permission to do that. So Merry Christmas and casse-toi. Trillfendi (talk) 17:54, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
- I won't get lost yet. I saw the removal of your text and with my pretty insatiable curiosity used "Who wrote that" to see who made the edit, and it was you. Looks like you've never been warned before, I think most people would agree it was a serious BLP violation, but again, not something you've repeated. End of story so far as I'm concerned. Doug Weller talk 08:37, 19 December 2024 (UTC)
- Had this been the old me, I would’ve went back and forth with you and stood 10 toes on whatever I did but like I said, I don’t care. If you’re happy, I’m happy for you…. Trillfendi (talk) 17:37, 20 December 2024 (UTC)
- You’ve clearly changed and for the better. Merry Christmas. Doug Weller talk 19:52, 20 December 2024 (UTC)
