Margaret May Fish McWade
[edit]Hi, Tricewilson48. I've mad an edit to your draft on Margaret May Fish McWade. It looks like the content is mostly ready to go, but I think the references need to be cleaned up a bit. You can (of course) use MLA format on wikipedia, but the urls you've provided for the web address part of the MLA citation are almost all to the root of a large site (e.g. archives.com, etc.), not to the individual resource. In most cases these are scanned newspapers and the like, so the importance of the URL stems from the ability of a reader to quickly look at an archvied copy. Offering as a link just the site itself is not as helpful and can clutter references for readers looking to merely peruse the article. I don't want to remove the links themselves (as I'm not sure if you have more direct links available), but I do think they should be removed or updated. Please let me know if you need any help with this. Thanks. Adam (Wiki Ed) (talk) 19:43, 8 December 2014 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 16:04, 16 December 2014 (UTC)
