Thessaloniki Metro design

[edit]

I found a full presentation on the visual identity at https://www.emetro.gr/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Presentation-Logo.pdf. This may affect the appearance of the route icons. --Minoa (talk) 10:47, 14 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That's really awesome, thanks. The logo I uploaded was self-made, but I will update with the one on the PDF later tonight so it's 100% correct. I have also archived the PDF here so it doesn't get lost (may not show up for a while).
There appear to be two lines still, 1 and 2. Interesting. Michail (blah) 10:50, 14 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I've updated logo file, however the HEX code in the presentation is wrong. RGB given is 23 38 62. The correct HEX for this is  #17263E , but the presentation says to use  #17863E , obviously a typo. Michail (blah) 11:34, 14 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thessaloniki Metro colours

[edit]

I had to revert the colour changes in {{Infobox station/Header GR}} because of the signage: see this image for example. The colour update should have been the other way round (icons and adjacent stations) --Minoa (talk) 23:39, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Minoa Sure; I'm aware of the maps, I changed it to ensure uniformity with the symbols while consensus is reached (started a discussion here) - the lighter colours are the original scheme we were using on Wikipedia. Personally I also think the dark colour scheme is difficult to discern when the red and blue are adjacent to each other - their contrast ratio is less than 3:1, and a minimum of 4.5:1 is the baseline for accessibility. As a wiki we should be cognisant of this as the content needs to be as accessible as possible.
In the revert you also removed elseif s == 'TM' then m = {'Thessaloniki Metro logo.svg','Thessaloniki Metro'}, can you please reinstate that. Michail (blah) 01:27, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Just a small note on RM procedure

[edit]

Hey there, I just closed and completed the move for the Metro Development plan and noticed a small note from you there, so I just wanted to drop by to let you know that procedurally, you cannot close your own RM as you would be considered involved per our guidelines - Wikipedia:Requested moves/Closing instructions#Who can close requested moves. Instead, you just wait until an experienced closer combs through the Wikipedia:Requested moves#Elapsed listings to close or relist the RM discussion. Happy editing :) Raladic (talk) 02:04, 3 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Statement on edit on Greece conservatism sidebar

[edit]

To whom it may concern (you),

I was just not aware of the conservative situation in Greece. Also, most of the conservatism sidebars of various European nations (i.e.: Germany, Russia and Italy) have past monarchical coats of arms as representative. I may not know the context why.

I know everybody makes mistakes sometimes. I promise not to make any unnecessary edits on certain sidebars. Thank you.
