Da‘wat dhul-‘Ashīra - Summoning the Family
[edit]Salam bro,
Thanks for your attempt to improve Succession to Muhammad [1]. However, we have some criteria which you've neglected. Please compare it with Ali#After_conversion_to_Islam. In brief, almost all of your sources are primary(See:WP:PRIMARY). Adding your judgment like ! At the least, this shows that the appointment of ‘Ali b. Abí Tãlib was clear and explicit, not just implied. is against WP:NPOV and WP:OR.--Seyyed(t-c) 02:15, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
Nice!
[edit]Salaam, good job on all the work you've been doing. --Enzuru 01:40, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
Eid Mubarak!
[edit]Salaam and Eid Mubarak, I had actually thought we could make that template just for Twelvers, but I guess you're right, we should just make it a generic Imam template (for Twelver and Ismaili only though, the Zaidi conception is way too different). I'll fix things up and give you an update. --Enzuru 14:28, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- After working with it, I decided against a generic template, but I did make the changes you asked for. --Enzuru 15:17, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for telling me, I think the issue has been fixed now, but I can't check because I'm having some cryptic cache issues. --Enzuru 03:36, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
Hello
[edit]I always feel so sad that you have no user page... :-( ناهد/(Nåhed) speak! 06:02, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
- LOL, literally an hour later without seeing your comment I created one for him! --Enzuru 20:17, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
Well I put some stuff on it now (nowhere near as interesting as yours though o_O ..lol) Toushiro (talk) 21:31, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Japanese Muslim
[edit]are you one? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Al-Zaidi (talk • contribs) 01:13, 30 October 2008
- I'll leave that for you to decide =P ~ Toushiro (talk) 04:31, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
- I was just asking because I came across a book about Muslims in Japan, most who are ethnically Japanese converted during the time of the Ottomans. So i was just curious if you would be in a position to provide information. I care little for prejudice which is why i find your quote "I'll leave that for you to decide" rather unhelpful.Al-Zaidi (talk) 03:43, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
- Nah, I think he's just the byproduct of the Japanese fad that has swept through the West. Look at his userboxes, they're filled with Internet culture. --Enzuru 05:50, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

Feedback
[edit]What do you think on how I've changed the Imam templates around? Start at Hasan ibn Ali and work your way around to see how it is organized. --Enzuru 02:43, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
- whoa, really nice work~~ I cant think up any suggestions at the moment though.. >_<
- I was actually about to ask for your help keeping an eye on the dajjal page. Basically, I added some information and all of it kept being removed for petty reasons, so I was just as forceful in keeping my info there (i think i kinda overdid it, and showed how little i know about wikipedia policy still, but hey~). Things have cooled down now, and most of the info was kept - but what concerns me is a response on the talk page that was just added and removed. Toushiro (talk) 03:43, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
- Also, Template:Ali, Template:Fatimah, and Template:Husayn now follow the look of Template:Muhammad. But, back to what you said (leave responses on my talk page so I know, the only reason I came back here was to add what I just said), you need to note that the Twelver are the second largest single group in Islam, whether this person likes it or not. --Enzuru 04:10, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
- Do me a favor, since I really dislike doing this (I did it with Ismail ibn Jafar and Muhammad ibn Ismail, that's enough for one lifetime). Could you put the Template:infobox_Imams thing like we have with the early Imams on this article: Shi'a view of Ali. Though, if you don't want to, I could do it eventually. Like, one day. --Enzuru 22:27, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
- What infobox do you want to add? Might as well just use the royal one, Ali is using that one too. --Enzuru 04:44, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- That is purposeful for Template:Infobox_Imams, however it has been kept in Template:Infobox_Twelver and modified in Tempalte:Infobox_Ismaili. --Enzuru 05:41, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
- Don't put Imam in the big name with the name, just put their name. --Enzuru 05:48, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

Re: Shah Cheragh
[edit]Hi, Good catch. There are many similar looking mausoleums with the famous pear-shaped dome in Shiraz and I can see how distinguishing between them can be confusing.
The picture below is tomb of Seyyed Mir Ahmad:
-
10 columns, flowery design on dome
And this one here is tomb of Seyyed Mir Muhammad:
-
4 columns, different dome design
Both are part of the same complex named Shah Cheragh. (Marmoulak (talk) 22:15, 3 August 2009 (UTC))
Re: Shah Cheragh 2
[edit]I don't think the pictures below are from Mausoleum of Ali Ibn-e-Hamzeh:
They are pictures of the interior of Shah Cheragh as seen in this pic as well.
FYI, here are all the mausoleums in Shiraz with the pear-shaped dome, that look like Shah Cheragh but are different:
Mausoleum of Ali Ibn-e-Hamzeh:
Mausoleum of Seyyed Taj Al-Din Qarib:
Mausoleum of Seyyed Ala'iddin Husayn:
