References

[edit]

You can link directly to references if you use the <ref> and </ref> tags. If you want to use a reference more than once, you can use the format <ref name = whatevernameyoupick> and </ref>. They when you reuse the ref, you simply need to use <ref name = whatevernameyoupick/> and the ref will be repeated.

If you use refs like that, you need to include {{reflist}} down below the "References" section header.

Using <ref>Reference name here</ref> you will get this:[1]

If you wanted to use a reference several times, you could use <ref name = Sandefur>A reference of yours</ref>, and then repeat it using <ref name = Sandefur/>. You'd then get this[2] which you also want to references here[2] and here.[2]

And by placing {{reflist}} down here, you will generate your list of references.

  1. ^ Reference name here
  2. ^ a b c A reference of yours

Oh, and by the way - it's generally looked upon as bad form to create or edit articles about your own employer. There are conflict of interest concerns. There are two levels of concern - one is the appearance of a COI, and the other is the reality of it. It isn't a hard-and-fast rule that you can't edit articles about your employers, etc., but it is frowned upon. You might want to have a look at how Wes Elsberry does it - see Wesley R. Elsberry and Talk:Wesley R. Elsberry. Guettarda (talk) 06:39, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
