Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the articles Beyoncé Knowles and Beyoncé Knowles discography, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at List of awards and nominations received by Beyoncé Knowles. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Oz talk 20:56, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
Sorry, in what way am I constituting vandalism? I am changing it back to what it always used to be, the information on the page now, stating 160 awards won is false, but nothing is being done about that? All I was trying to do is put it back to how it always used to be. --Lolcakes25 (talk) 22:47, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
- Count her awards won in the tables. It is not 248. Continuing to add this amount is vandalism. Oz talk 23:00, 24 May 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload new images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded or added to an article, specifically Beyoncé Knowles, may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Oz talk 01:58, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
- If you want to change the infobox image in the Beyoncé Knowles article, then you need to discuss this at the talk page first. If you got the image from Google or any other websites then it is copyrighted and cannot be used. Oz talk 22:56, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
I didn't get it from google, it's from Beyoncé's official website and has a free license. Also the picture currently being used is over a year old and for a biography of a living person shouldn't the image be much more recent? If there was a problem with the image then why hasn't it been deleted from the commons? --Lolcakes25 (talk) 01:26, 25 August 2012 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:Beyonce Knowles 2012 BET awards.jpg
A tag has been placed on File:Beyonce Knowles 2012 BET awards.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Stefan2 (talk) 10:28, 25 August 2012 (UTC)

In my opinion it is better to add the info about the live performances of the song after the tour finishes completely. And thank you for all your help and work on the tour. You're great. :D My love is love (talk) 14:16, 25 June 2013 (UTC)

Mrs. Carter Show
Yes I know, I always make a lot of mistakes while adding new information to an article as I never check what I have written before. And about the concert synopsis I will continue to write it, don't worry. Every source says something about the performance of at least one song. Your comments are always welcome. :D My love is love (talk) 01:35, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
- Actually I don't use only those sources. I use every review of the tour. I will see in the end. If there are not a lot of reviews I will do that. My love is love (talk) 15:47, 11 July 2013 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Rogers Centre, but we cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 02:25, 18 July 2013 (UTC)

Oh yeah, there are rules!
From the talk page of List of best-selling music artists:
To be on this list artists who begun charting:
before 1975 are required to have their available claimed figures supported by 20% in certified units. between 1975–1990 are required to have their available claimed figures supported by 20-40% in certified units. (That is 1.33% for each additional year after 1975) between 1990–2000 are required to have their available claimed figures supported by 40-60% in certified units. (That is 2% for each additional year after 1990) in 2000 and onwards are required to have their available claimed figures supported by 60-80% in certified units. (That is 1.6% for each additional year after 2000)
Is it clear now that Beyonce doesn't have the right amount of certifications to claim sales of 118 million? — Tomíca(T2ME) 12:45, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
- I restored to the previous version by Harout72 (talk · contribs) where she is present with 75 million sales. If you find a reliable source stating she has sold over 85 million, you can add it, otherwise 118 million is way too inflated based on her certifications. — Tomíca(T2ME) 13:00, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
