Help

Hey, I kinda need help. I'm trying to change my signature, but I just get a "Invalid raw signature; check HTML tags" message (that I don't really understand).

The signatures are:

MITB LS

or

MITB LS

I'm preferring the one on the right, but either way, I get the same message. Do you know what's up? MITB LS (t·c) 23:58, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

It worked! Thanks man! MITB LS 02:36, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
Oh hey... I have two favors I need to ask of you... the first: I'm trying to improve my status indicator. I have it improved it to how I want it. The only problem is that the little stop light thing is broken from the top, even though I plugged in the "&nbsp" code. Could you fix that for me?
the second one: on my userpage, there are a series of "Infobox Military Conflict" templates ("Monday Night Wars", "Cartoon Wars" and "East Coast vs. West Coast"), in a hybrid design of an IB MC and a collapable feature (that I found on an earlier draft of your userpage) in a "collapsable design" (so when opened, it'll look like an IB MC). The problem is the alignment between the header part and the main part when opened (it appears misfigured when you open it). I asked Moe ε to do it, but he hasn't had any luck. I was wondering if you could do it.
I know you probably have a lot on your hands right now, but if you could so improve both items, I'd appriciate it really, really, really, really, really much! It'll be probably the last of my renovations to my userpage (I need to get back to work in the mainspace). MITB LS 04:54, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
The traffic light should be right next to the "this user is ___" part. (Sorry about my grammar. I'm still in school, you know) MITB LS 05:45, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
No problem. About the "Infobox Military Conflict": while you you were working on the status bar, I did a little expirimenting with the IP MC on the WP:SANDBOX. I heard what you said earlier about how the infobox automatically aligned itself to the right? Well, I "subst"ed everything in the box (the IP:MC and the main infobox itself). The code's long, but there might be something in the code that can align the infobox center. One of them can be found HERE. Tell me if you find anything about it. MITB LS 06:10, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
Oh yeah, I already did a little tweaking on that (changed some perameters to "center" or "left"), but it didn't work. MITB LS 06:11, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

THANKS! As a matter a fact, a thanks isn't enough.

The Special Barnstar
Thanks for going the extra mile to help improve my userpage (plus a few other things you've done for me in the past that I can't recall), as well as the Wikipedia mainspace. You deserve it, and GET WELL SOON! MITB LS 06:36, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

Thanks again. I'll ask one of the other guys you recommended to do something about my status bar. I'ma got to bed now; it's 11:32PM on the West Coast right now, and my mom's bugging me to get into bed :) MITB LS 06:36, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

Oh hey, there's just one more thing (Wikipedia mainspace related). Skipping to the chase, I have a template HERE having to do with hip hop music (I'm trying to create a standard type of template for all hip hop rapper templates). Anyway, the only improvement on it is the header. I don't think a "tnavbar-collapsible" is necessary for this type of template (which automatically centers the header). I don't know the code to center the header, so could fix it for me? Thanks. MITB LS 01:44, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Would you mind having a look over December to Dismember (2006), as the article is currently up for peer review. I'd be grateful for any thoughts you might have on the article, and that you leave your thoughts on the article here. Many thanks in advance, Davnel03 18:29, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Hornswoggle

Is the most entertaining character I have seen in a while. It's too bad this angle will end once Kennedy comes back from suspension, however, drawing it out any longer could make it lose it's humor. But I'm diggin' it so far. Bmg916Speak 19:03, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

I'm completely loving the little guy right now, but then again he's been one of my favortie's since he debuted and has grown on me steadily every since. I think its absolutely great that WWE gave him a title run and his own fairly major angle with Vince ...good for him :) --Naha|(talk) 00:33, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

Ahem....WHAT?! Are you serious...this is another abombanation of a storyline written by WWE's constantly decaying storyline team. I waited four weeks for a cheap laugh? They could have made it someone that could produce a serious storyline, but they went for the "OMGZ A MIDGET ROFL, AWWZ VINCE DOESNT LIEK HIM". Meh after its through i'll just act like it never happened. Atomic Religione 01:17, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

They left themselves some room to rebook who the son is by portraying the entire Hornswoggle thing as a practical joke played by the mother, so I'm not prepared to call them stupid just yet. So long as they drop it before it gets old they'll be fine. Anyway, I think that Hornswoggle is absolutely hilarious. He has great charisma, and is doing a great job with Jamie "Mr. Personality" Noble. The WWE hasn't had anything else going for them lately, so why not give him a run with an already devalued/worthless title? They took a chance, and I think that it will pay off big in merchandise sales. It also gives them a way to put the title on Noble so he can feud with Shannon Moore, which will be a real moneymaker if they book it right. This may look stupid in the short run, but when you look at how everything is panning out they have a long term plan for this. Sadly, it doesn't look like the plans involve Hornswoggle :,(. He's so entertaining. Peace, The Hybrid 04:36, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

Hi!

Hi! You made a little mistake on the D2D PR, see here. Oh, I also have a little story to tell you (don't laugh - its not funny). Yesterday at school I had someone (very stupidly) throw a stick at my head [don't laugh], and now have a massive bruise on my head. Hopefully it won't affect me editing Wikipedia. Yeah it's going alright, nothing much happening at the moment. Did you watch SmackDown last night? Theodore Long collapsing looked really, really fake. Kristal tripping up the steps, lol, that was funny. Although I agree with the fans, we tune in to watch wrestling, not a wedding. Davnel03 09:31, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, I love Hornswoggle, but hate the illegitamate child angle now he's the son. Why couldn't they of put the child as Kennedy and sort out his suspension later. I think fans overall dislike this angle given this past weeks RAW rating which dropped big time. Davnel03 10:41, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion templates

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles, as you did with 1PW Second Anniversary Show. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please do the following:

  1. Place {{hangon}} on the page. Please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag(s).
  2. Make your case on the article's talk page.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Stifle (talk) 19:59, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Please don't template me. An admin known as User:The undertow basically told me that the article couldn't be speedy deleted, so I was bold and replaced it with a prod. If I misunderstood him, or if this was outside of due process, then I apologize; however, when an admin tells me that an article can't be speedied I'm inclined to believe him. Cheers, The Hybrid 20:32, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
Sorry, going into a speedying frenzy sometimes makes me miss out on obvious stuff like that. Still, only admins should actually remove speedy tags. Thanks for getting back to me. Stifle (talk) 20:39, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
I kind of took it as an admin removing the tag since The undertow didn't think it should be speedied, and I just assumed that if I didn't remove the tag then he would, but I guess that was a borderline situation and I jumped the gun. I won't remove tags in the future. Oh well, I guess this just means that I was right the first time :). Everything has a silver lining. Have a nice day, The Hybrid 20:45, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Hello, for the past few days I have been looking for a very experienced editor with a lot of potential to adopt me on wikipedia. On looking through the list I have noticed you. He was already blocked for a day, I re-blocked for a week when he couldn't stop calling every user he saw "dumbfucks" then all hell broke loose, I had never seen so many denied unblock requests before. - Caribbean~H.Q. 03:19, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
I was about to but one of the denying admins did it before; his reaction was funny as hell though, very bipolar in nature, he asked to please be unblocked and the next second he cursed all of the project to eternal suffering. - Caribbean~H.Q. 03:24, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

Wiki world cup

Hey would you be intrested in the project me and other wikipedians are doing? see here its a tourtement for wikipedians. The sunder king 18:57, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

Hey, world cup! I'm interested, what's this about again? - Caribbean~H.Q. 06:15, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
Its a competition to find the best quality wiki editor. It works in the same system as the soccer world cup, except judges help choose who get past each round etc. Basically its a competition at editing qualities, and a motivation to help improve poor quality articles more. I've been looking for help. The sunder king 07:58, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
Sounds cool, I would be interested in a judge position since while there are some GAs and FAs under my belt my working style is more paused and careful than what is expected of someone competing, but if we are using the FIFA format I have no problem recognizing it and the concept can prove very useful specially for those small WikiProjects that need help. - Caribbean~H.Q. 09:05, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
Just replying to your comment on my talk page, it isn't all about copyediting. It can be about reverting vandalism, writing, referencing, or any type of constructive editing. The sunder king 09:09, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

Issues in Brazil

I've made extensive edits in Brazil's article and contributed effectively towards a number of improvements, something that makes me quite proud. There have been disagreements and heated discussions in the past, but all of them were resolved through conversation. At the moment, however, I find it impossible to continue interacting in Brazil’s talk page until one of the four administrators I have contacted organize the terrible mess that has been created.

Both groups have their own valid points to defend their opinions, but I see some editors persist in insulting others instead of resorting to constructive argumentation. I’ve patiently explained the reason I opposed the football picture. I’ve posted my explanations in Brazil’s talk page and in our “opponents” personal talk pages as well. In return, instead of logical reasoning, I received more insults, based on distortions of what I say.

It’s ok to disagree, but it is not ok to insult people. At the moment, I don’t see any possibility of voting or discussing anything in a civilized manner in Brazil’s page. Furthermore, the users that are constantly insulting me and other editors they disagree with have a long history of warnings, blocks and fighting. That basically means they are pretty much inclined to causing trouble, as their current behavior doesn’t show they’ve learned from past “punishments”.

For me this is an administrator matter now.

Sparks1979 19:23, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for your reply. In the one year I’ve been around, this discussion has been the most frustrating I’ve found myself involved in. The personal attacks of “racism” were quite annoying, but the worst part, in my opinion, was the rather placid posture of someone who had the power to correct the situation and didn’t do so. It’s quite disappointing when you need to ask people to do their job, and they somehow feel offended or something. I think you know what I’m talking about.
As for certain troublemakers, I checked the “history” of edits and messages of the people involved in the attacks, and noticed these are users who write very little, contribute very little and seldom do any hard work in articles. I was not surprised to learn they have quite long block logs. If you track them down, you will see they get involved in trouble almost routinely. It’s amazing some of them are still here and few people do anything about it. I find their actions incredibly disruptive towards the project. It’s also interesting to see how some people actually seem to enjoy fighting. I sincerely don’t understand what they are doing in Wikipedia. There are countless excellent Forums with varied topics, around the web, which are dedicated solely to debates and polemical subjects. If I understood it correctly, Wikipedia is meant to be a database of knowledge, where people are invited to team up and, together, help advance and organize its enormous contents. I think certain people don’t have much to contribute with, so they spend their time literally trying to annoy others. I will not say any names in this message, but if anyone reads it and feels offended, maybe it’s because they identify themselves with what I’m saying. Sparks1979 03:39, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
Good news. I think me and Covarrubias have taken a step foward towards ending all the trouble. Perhaps others will follow the same direction. Sparks1979 15:07, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

We have to move on, we either continue with the discussion or we make the vote, if people just escape from the issue then it'll stay exactly the same way it was before which doesn't solve anything, I'm proposing the inclusion of the picture, people have given their arguments, and it seems like we are not convincing each other, so it has to be decided somehow, if the majority of the participants vote NO for the proposed picture then it won't be included, but if there are more votes for YES, then the picture should be included, I even like the second proposal that you (hybrid) proposed, but again people refused to vote so it’d stay the way it is right now, how can you open a discussion if people are not going to participate but they won’t let you edit either.Supaman89 23:36, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

But I already explained everything I had to say, but it doesn’t seem to go anywhere, as long as people keep saying the same arguments to each other it’ll stay the same, I understand you erased the “voting part” because things had calmed down and we could continue with the discussion but what is there to be discussed? Everyone has expressed their opinions and nothing is happened, the inclusion of the picture has to be decided somehow, but now they don’t even want to continue so it stays the way it is, people have to vote so we finally get done with this issue, please you know what’s going on here, I need you to help me. Supaman89 00:03, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

Could you put another voting section and put the three options (National Team | Soccer match | Athletes) and we'll just stick with whichever has the most votes.Supaman89 00:13, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

Hello Hybrid, sorry to bother you again but I was wandering if you would like to support my proposal as well (the first one), it’s incredible to see how even though half of Brazilians are Black/Brown there is no a single picture of an Afro-Brazilian in the whole article, also you’ve probably noticed that everyone is putting “opposition votes”, and well you may also want to put an opposition comment about the third proposal, again thank you very much for your help. Supaman89 18:23, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

Maybe you should talk to him, I was surprised to see him in a report at WP:AIV but after checking his contributions I noticed he has become a blantant vandal, you were the one that adopted him and are his mentor so he will probably listen to you, I know he never comunicated with me when I tried to adopt him following your retirement so I think he will probably not listen to me. - Caribbean~H.Q. 11:42, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

Yeah I know what you mean, this also shocked me when it was discovered. - Caribbean~H.Q. 01:11, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
I didn't expect a indef block but its probably the best if he has gone completely out of control, maybe if he commits to avoid vandalism I can shorten his block since the reason for idef was somewhat invalid. - Caribbean~H.Q. 01:16, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
I see, if he returns he must be aware that I can shorten the block but it will still be quite long, three months at least since vandalism and uncivility can't go unpunished. - Caribbean~H.Q. 01:23, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
I will wait for his response before making a final decision, its on his hands now. - Caribbean~H.Q. 01:34, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
It shouldn't most of those that had you as a mentor have turned into good contributors, I guess there is always a bad apple. - Caribbean~H.Q. 01:37, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
Don't worry about it, nobody is responsible for someone else's actions, you did your best but he failed. - Caribbean~H.Q. 01:42, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
Adopting is often a roll-of-the-dice kind of situation, some of the adoptess can turn for the worst by themselves, but there is no reason to feel guilty there's nothing we can do for the past now, we better wait for a response from him. - Caribbean~H.Q. 01:54, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

I've been lookin at the situation. You and I both know though that it doesn't really matters until SD airs in the US. I can't really help there though since i've already mentioned that my local CW station is airing SD tomorrow (this has pissed my off since the WB/UPN merger resulting in the CW airing on the old WB in my area, which usually airs the Yankees games. In the 7 years beforehand, it was never delayed.) TJ Spyke 01:05, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

It's about as reliable as most rumor/dirt sites, take that for what its worth. TJ Spyke 01:11, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
Same thing, it's as reliable as most rumor sites. I have made my opinion of them known before, especially Dave Meltzer and his Wrestling Observer newsletter (the ONLY reason I check his site is for the SmackDown spoilers), so I won't give a lot of praise to them. That guy is really annoying the way he keeps ignoring you and I telling him about WP:PW policy. SmackDown should be almost over (it's 9:49PM) and there were 2 matchs taped after the announcment, so it's probably safe to add the title vacancy. TJ Spyke 01:50, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

Saw that you undid the stripping of Hornswoggle's belt. While I'm not 100% sold on the edit, I guess we can hold out 'till SD! goes off the air. Fhb3 01:54, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

My custom "wdefcon"

Hey there. I have just one more thing to ask of you related to my renovation of my userpage (the term "one" is indefinite): I have recently created a custom "wdefcon" indicator (actually the one that you have on your page right now, only with my "color scheme"). I'm trying to change the text color (to white) so the black text doesn't fade in with the black background. Do you know how? (I tried the <font color="white"> code, but it didn't work). It can be found here, and don't worry about the white fading in with the light grey background (I can fix the background later). MITB LS 22:43, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

Like suppose if vandalism levels were 4 or 5: then the black text wouldn't show out. I just need the text to be white. MITB LS 22:57, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
Yeah. That's exactly what I wanted. Thanks! MITB LS 23:07, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

it says "in memoriam, may they never be forgotten".--Summerluvin 03:57, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Thanks!

I realize that the instructions on WP:RFCN weren't really clear, so I edited the header to make it a bit clearer. For a while, we had a huge, red (nearly neon flashing lol) banner that explained users should be notified first. Not sure what happened to that... lol. I did add a bullet item, and bolded the explanation, but thanks for letting the user respond first. If they don't edit, or don't respond, it may be worth it just to let it drop, as they seem to have edited once a few weeks ago, and not again. (As an aside, do you have any idea what their username is supposed to say in "leet" speak? I don't speak it, lol) ArielGold 05:05, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Yes I am fine

Thanks for asking. I am fine, I just need a mild break from editing because I just fell a little over heated in the head. The sunder king 14:28, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

I probably will tomorrow. I definitely do think there is a COI from him since he was the one who indefinitely blocked me twice (the first time was overturned in a few hours because he blocked me for something I didn't do, and the second time was when my situation was still being discussed). The fact that there was a discussion going on at both WP:MFD and WP:PW that he ignored can help. TJ Spyke 06:16, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

Hi, I've been working on building up this article, and I think it's close to being ready for a GA review. If you could look it over and let me know what you think, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks GaryColemanFan 23:27, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for looking through the article. I appreciate the help with the spelling. I must have looked at those words dozens of times by this point and not noticed that they weren't spelled correctly. It definitely helps toward the GA Review, so it's greatly appreciated. GaryColemanFan 00:12, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Hi there (BTW, I'm "MITB LS". I just changed my username). I had to change my signature (again). I'm trying to change my signature to this: The Chronic . However, I keep getting the HTTL error message, and I don't exactly know what's the problem. Could you fix it for me? The Chronic 02:32, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Yes, it worked! Thanks, man! The Chronic 04:34, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
Hopefully you'll find this an amusing question;

Hello I would like you to give your view on this requests for comment I have started up based around the usage and purpose of userboxes. Please see Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Wikipedia:Userboxes.--The sunder king 20:20, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

Community? compromise? No one has even bothered to leave a comment on the page! This I find rude and insulting, because I am not part of the "admin-crew" or the "god-king" crew so on average nobody listens to me. The sunder king 14:27, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Bad day

Listen, I am having a bad day on wikipedia at the minute, and some new editors and anons I feel like just exploding at. I've already removed several comments from my page in frustration, and just to let you know I am going up for editor review before things can go worse. I need a few more months editing wikipedia before I try RFA. The sunder king 17:54, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Please see. Wikipedia:Editor review/The sunder king. The sunder king 18:02, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
I don't think so, you've ignored my editor review and as an adopter you should pay attention to that. I am putting it up for deletion because its almost certainly going to be ignored anyway, even if you edit it. I feel awful and I am sick of this place. The sunder king 14:10, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Nothing to do with that, its because I am just an ordinary editor, and I am not part of the "cabal" so I will be ignored. Because I am not a worthy one, or anyone important. Wikipedia needs to change, even if I have to nominate every damn page for deletion to do it!. The sunder king 14:31, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
I think I need a few more months before RFA, I am calming down now. However I am planning to nominate a few more useless pages for deletion. The sunder king 14:36, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Ok I am fine now, I will nominate a few pages, but not many. The sunder king 14:38, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Your advice is brilliant, no I wouldn't nominate WP:FUN, but that essay that I nominated anyway shouldn't have been a usersub page. I never even relised it was until I nominated it. Hatred by other wikipedians will only drag down any chances of a future RFA I am guessing. The sunder king 14:42, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Whooo!

It is an honor for me to be the first to behold the sexiness of your barnfish :-) Bmg916Speak 15:00, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Just cause you haven't gotten one yet :-)

Not much, my life has become somewhat cyclical and predictable lately, which is actually kind of boring. I'm going to alumni weekend at my Alma Mater next weekend, so hopefully that will turn out well. Hows by you? Hows the shoulder? Bmg916Speak 15:16, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

I hear ya on the shoulder thing, I've had about 5 or 6 orthopaedic surgeries in the past 9 years. Glad to hear your doing well, and that life has slowed down for you a bit. I love buffalo wings, I just ordered some for lunch, haha. Hope they come out well :-). Bmg916Speak 15:30, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

I've had 2 surgeries on my left knee to pretty much just cleanse it out, as some scar tissue and such had built up so badly it was tilting my knee cap the wrong direction. One was about 5 or 6 years ago, the other a few weeks before I actually registered my account here back in January. The first one I had was a re-building of my left elbow, I completely demolished it wrestling. About 3 years later, after the first knee surgery, I had an operation on the right elbow to remove broken pieces of my ruptured bursa that apparently had traces of rheumatoid arthritis in them. Fun stuff, eh? Bmg916Speak 15:55, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

A combination of great orthopedic surgeons, physical therapy, pain meds, and sheer willpower my friend. Bmg916Speak 16:03, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Competitively? Yes. I don't think I could handle 12 months of soccer, with 3-4 months of scholastic wrestling any more. I'll mess around with friends from time to time though. Bmg916Speak 16:09, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

I work in an orthopaedic practice in the IT department, oddly enough :-) Bmg916Speak 16:11, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Screwing around on the forums and messing with people, eh? That does sound like fun. Bmg916Speak 16:16, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Hahahahaha. Let me know how this turns out :-). Bmg916Speak 16:19, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Nah, I'm good where I am in the IT world, I'm gonna stick around in there for a long while probably. I'm no good at science, surgeon was out of the career path options long ago. Bmg916Speak 16:22, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Funny, the way the world and certain minds work that way (what happened on the Pokemon forum). See when you get back. Bmg916Speak 16:25, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Information technology. It's a wide field. Mainly, I'm into web development, but around here I dabble in a little of everything and generally do whatever they need me to that's Info. Tech. related. Bmg916Speak 16:28, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

I re-built two of them (the one for the orthopaedic practice, and the one for the Ambulatory surgery center upstairs.) I also maintain the one for the building we're in (the practice owns it), in addition to the other two. Bmg916Speak 16:33, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Okey dokey, have fun with the buffalo wings :-). Bmg916Speak 16:35, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Re: That MFD

In all honesty, I'm glad you're there for him anyway. Still, the fact that there was an experienced person like you watching over his shoulder kind of reminds us all about the importance of WP:BITE - we've all got to set examples. In a way, it was probably a good thing that you posted in the MFD around the time that he made the nomination, for hell hath no fury like a Wikipedia regular. Not a problem at all, mate. Thanks for dropping by! --WaltCip 15:28, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Lol!

I found your secret page! Well to tell you the truth:

Feedback

Hi The Hybrid I feel perfectly calm and stable on wikipedia now, I am taking a wikibreak to study up on some stuff and to prevent myself exploding onto fellow wikipedians, which would end up me being blocked. I am going to need a few months more experience on how to coordinate properly on wikipedia before I go up for RFA. I also withdrew those deletion nominations off earlier. I don't plan to delete anything for a while yet. The sunder king 13:46, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

AWF (Australia)

G'day, Im trying to expand the Australian Wrestling Federation article, its a noteworthy promotion because its the biggest in Sydney, which is traditionally not open to pro wrestling. Ive encountered a bit of resistance from when a guy ripped me with all these "citation needed" tags. They were fair enough but I think he went a bit hard. All the stuff in the article is true. But I could only find it on two websites. One was the AWF official site and the other was one with just results. It was suggested that I contact someone involved with wikiproject wrestling. Have I done the right thing in contacting you? PD 02:02, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

Hybrid, in response to your reflection about the AWF website - I beg to differ. What is needed for promotional matters (which is what the dispute was about) is a third party source. You can't use the AWF website for show results unless the promotion's notability has already been established (as it has with WWE for example). The only thing you can use the official website for is operational matters - as I indicated in response to the anonymouse user on the AWF talk page. The AWF's notability has not yet been established to the point that sourcing it's website on show results and so on is acceptable. If it is notable there should be no problem coming up with other sources - as GaryColemanFan has done with the very reliable Wrestling Observer. One source however is a start only. Let's see more different sources. That's what makes a wrestling promotion notable. !! Justa Punk !! 07:54, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

Hey hybrid, thanks for your help on AWF (Australia). Im a bit apprehensive about how it will all go now that you've bowed out. Hopefully it'll turn out for the best. Thanks --Parradudes 02:54, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

Hi Again

Hi! Remember when you said that if that Justapunk guy said anymore about the notability of that article I should contact you? Well he's put it up for deletion. Hes just got this vendetta against it. I have a feeling he might be involved with a rival promotion. Anyway, your assistance would be appreciated --Parradudes 02:13, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

Userpage situation... again

I always have to go to you for userpage problems. :) This is the current problem: I just "columnized" the middle part of my userpage. The thing is that with the column codes, the service badge causes the rest of the part (wikiprojects, templates, friends) to line break (I have removed the badge as of right now. I want it so that the badge can still be there, yet the body won't break lines. The badge code is this: [[Image:editor - bronze ribbon - 1 pip.jpg|frame|right|This editor is a '''[[Wikipedia:Service awards#Journeyman Editor (or Grognard)|Journeyman Editor]],''' and is entitled to display this '''Service Badge.''']]{{{category|[[Category:Journeyman editors|User:The Chronic]]}}} The Chronic 02:35, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

Thanks in advance! The Chronic 02:35, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

Here: I'll give you a visual by putting the badge onto the page. (The badge being the Journeyman service award). Sorry for the confusion. The Chronic 06:43, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

Okay. Maybe your computer has a different resolution than mine. Here's how I see it: with the badge in place, there's a big gap between the "Wikiprojects" header and the part with "Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling, Wikipedia:WikiProject...etc...". I don't want that gap. I tried applying the "nbsp" code, but it didn't work. Does that make it clearer? The Chronic 06:53, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

Hey

Hey there. Could I ask a favour of you? Well, two to be honest. The song dispute with Candice Michelle has started again on the article talk page and it would be greatly appreciated to get your input on the situation. Also, could you check on the edits made by Aladdin Zane (talk · contribs) on the Trish Stratus page? The changes to the lead don't seem to work well, and there was a minor edit war regarding Stephanie McMahon's name in the article. The user was changing the character name Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley to her legit name Stephanie McMahon-Levesque as they seemed to be confused regarding kayfabe and reality. The name now stands as just Stephanie McMahon and I was wondering if you think Helmsley should be added? I'm pretty certain her on-screen name at the time had the Helmsley extension but I would be happy to let you decide how it should be. The reason I am asking is that I don't want the article to be compromised as it is a current GAC. Thanks in advance. - Deep Shadow 02:36, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for that and great response on the article talk page. I'm just wondering if it's possible to be blocked on 3RR if someone is enforcing policy, because I've made two reverts already today? - Deep Shadow 05:28, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
Haha, cool. I might just do that if there are more edits to the article because of this dumb debate. - Deep Shadow 05:38, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Okay, but I hope it doesn't have to come to that. I just want this issue to be over with and it would be if they just practiced what they preached, being that they say they follow the rules but they do not abide by them. - Deep Shadow 19:58, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Your comments are unacceptable

WP:BAN clearly states that taunting and mocking banned users is unacceptable. Do not do this in again in the future, as you did here. --Deskana (talk) 02:54, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

He probably deserved it, but Wikipedia guidelines are Wikipedia guidelines. Atomic Religione 02:58, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

You say you're "just having some fun". Well, this has to stop. You cannot have fun at the expense of banned users. This is policy. I advise you to not do this again, or you may not like the consequences. --Deskana (talk) 12:54, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

Possible full newsletter for WP:PW?

I already posted this on WPT:PW, but I thought I'd go to you for input: I was thinking if WP:PW could have a full community newsletter (I got the idea from a newsletter from another Wikiproject). The current newsletter {{Pwcotw notice}} could be included into the newsletter (as part of a section in the letter), plus other things. I just wanted to see what you think. The Chronic 04:14, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

Well, I noticed that you supported the idea for the newsletter. Well, I have drawn up a draft of the newsletter here. It would help if you have your feedback and suggestions at this talk page. Thanks! The Chronic 23:24, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
Thank you so much for your help on the newsletter! I just hope the newsletter will be a success. The Chronic 01:44, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

Hey, thanks for your help with the newsletter. There's one thing I need to ask you: I took your advice about adding a hide/show box on the newsletter. Well I took that advice. I didn't use the hide/show box on the whole newsletter, but only on "project news" and "in the real world". The thing is that I want the size of the font in the header to match the size as regular text (the size of the text of the rest of the thing). Do you know how to do that? Hope I don't confuse you with this. :) The Chronic 03:04, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

Never mind, actually. The Chronic 03:44, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

Okay. I have a good draft of the nesletter on my drawing board. The problem is that the top right hand box (that is labeled "current Events") extends down (you'll see it). Can you fix that? The Chronic 05:34, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

Well, you failed to uncenter your version of the newsletter :) Personally, it doesn't look very good (with "the WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter" written twice). You don't mind if I (request) speedy delete it, do you? The Chronic 07:29, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

Adoption

Hello the hybrid, now I know I am adopted by you, and I would like to stay adopted by you, but is it okay that I also adopt less experienced users at the same time? with four months under my belt I think I could manage that. The sunder king 15:09, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

That was an accident, I felt dizzy, Unconscious, and no kind of thinking of what I was doing. I never altered the comments all I did was move an "oppose" from the support section which turned out to be a joke anyway. Its not how you thought it was. The sunder king 16:06, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

Hey man. Just wanted to stop by and say wats up to my good friend. And thanks for forgiving me for my heinous actions. I hope my rep isn't tarnished too much (if ya know what I mean)...lol. Well, Cheers bro. BTW, wats up with this (User:R/EFD)? --—mikedk9109 21:08, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

No, I wasn't. I could use a good laugh though. I do remember him though. He had his Big Boss award. BTW, what happened to DXRAW? You know who that is right? —mikedk9109 23:58, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
Lol. What an idiot. I liked DXRAW a little too. Even though he put some stupid stuff over on the DX article. He was a little thickheaded. So who else I knew back then has retired? I bet you can remember all the great interactions I had with Yamla. —mikedk9109 00:06, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
Whoa, I never realized Yamla was a girl. I remember Tonetare and all those socks that bothered us. That was some funny crap. I hope this time around, it isn't so strict and everything. Thats one thing I sure didn't miss. Today was my first edit since February 24. Man, 9 months. I was such an addict too. I hated not being on here but, I eventually got used to it. I'm gonna catch you in edit count, you can guarantee it. Lol. I'm gonna take what was once mine. —mikedk9109 00:17, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

RE: Adminship

Thanks. I appreciate that you would support me if I went up for adminship. I think however I should wait a month or two at least, as a few weeks ago I unfortunately let myself get dragged into an edit war on Kristal Marshall over her release from WWE and subsequently World Wrestling Entertainment roster. I have learned since then to communicate better with other users and compromise. Maybe come December, but really, thank you so much for thinking that highly of me. Newsletter + signature

Well, I'm going to release the PW newsletter in one or two days. I have two questions: on the drawing board, in the "current events" box, the box extends too far down into the COTW box. Do you know how to fix that (so it's paralell with the "project news" box). My second (unrelated to the newsletter)... what signature do you prefer: the current one ( The Chronic ), or this one ( )? The Chronic 06:43, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

Ten things you didnt know about User:Atomic Religione

1. I have never archived my talk page because I want it to get so large it colapses into itself.

2. I have never recieved a honest barnstar in my one year stay here.

3. I have only uploaded one picture since I came here, and it has been since removed.

4. I have never been blocked

5. I have been the target of many vandals, recently User:Ockenbock

6. My first few edits wee pure vandalism.

7. The first draft of my userpage was extremely odd.

8. I have left Wikipedia once.

9. My signature once caused a uproar because the HTML was off and was messing everything up, thats why I currently do not use it.

10. I lost my password once, explaning a almost 2 month absence. Atomic Religione 14:58, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

Hey the Hybrid I got your response, I found it harsh but meaningful and I've put the RFA and any thoughts of a future RFA behind me and continued editing. I've been reverting vandalism and I've been hoping to hit my first GA rated article. I've been working on the article Chris Cohen could you have a look and tell me if its ready for a nomination yet? From the Editor

Welcome to the inaugural edition of the WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter! I hope this will be a good source of news to those people interested in what's happening around our pro wrestlimg community. I plan to release it every Sunday.

This newsletter will just be a way to get the community announcements to people who don't have the time to check the mesageboards, as well that to those just curious about the news. The newsleter will consist of a project news section (to do with what's happening on Wikipedia), and a current events section (relating to news in the "real world"). The newslette will also contain the Collaboration of the Week announcement.

That's all. If you have any feedback or suggestions, please post them at this talk page.

Calm it down a bit...

"I wish Wikipedia required people to pass an IQ Test before allowing them to edit." - your recent edit summary

Just a suggestion, you might want to calm things down a bit. Comments like that can be considered trolling and really aren't helpful at all. You're welcome to remove irrelevant posts according to policy, and leave a note on the editor's talk page to ask them to stop, but sarcasm isn't the best idea. That issue

I don't know about you, Hybrid - but I'm getting close to the end of my rope over this (dare I say it) spoiler issue. It seems that you and I are the only ones who see the danger in allowing spoilers. I haven't checked my ANI entry before adding this, but I get the impression right now that WP:SPOILER is going to over ride anything that we say. If it wasn't for the fact that it would be disruptive I've a good mind to throw a spanner into the champions listings after this week's Smackdown is shown in Australia and announce a new cruiserweight champion, and claim it was on TV. Just to prove a point. But that would be wrong. Your thoughts? I don't know what else we can do to get these people to understand. !! Justa Punk !! 00:55, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

You too are not the only ones. I was the one who first gave one of recent arguments Hyrbid has been arguing for. But I'm just so tired of it all I haven't posted on the matter much during this last discussion. It just consumes everyone completely and in a bad way. I don't know what to do. I feel like our arguments fall on deaf ears and that everyone is so consumed with upholding policy (which I agree should be done in the meantime) that even the thought of trying to change it because it currently might not be in the best interest of the encyclopedia sounds treasonous to them and its nananana I don't want to hear it, let me cite policy at you once more. We KNOW what it currently says, that doesn't mean its right. Ugh. Stupid circular arguments. --Naha|(talk) 19:39, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
Yeah well I did say I wouldn't do what I suggested. If I wanted to read a spoiler I'd go to a news site (WON usually). If you think what I have been doing is disruptive anyway, then OK - I'll stop. but I want to point out that I'm only responding in kind to Lid because as far as I'm concerned he's the one being disruptive. Maybe that's not the right way to handle it, but what can you do when one puts their fingers in their ears? I can't shout (that's what I meant by my comment re WP:CIVIL) so options are limited. You seem to have a bit more experience in this. I saw on the ANI that someone wanted a link to the previous consensus against spoilers on the wrestling section. I don't know where that is - maybe you do? I did see that you were arguing from a good platform. I guess it's a question of working on it. I just hope we don't get a title change this week on Smackdown or on any week before this is finally sorted. !! Justa Punk !! 03:45, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
I'm done, I'm bowing out, I no longer care. Let me know when the issue is settled, because this is so silly at this point it's just not worth it. I will go with whatever the decided outcome is. Bmg916Speak 04:18, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

New username

I've narrowed it down to a few usernameds. "Cleveland Flame" "Cleonkster" and "Monstribe". I can't decide though. Its so hard. I'm jealous of you're nachos. So, what do you think of the Sexy Beast coming back? —mikedk9109 21:15, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

Pardon me, but I am going to comment my opinions on Jericho because I am a nosy-ass. I'm glad Jericho is back, although he looks a little funny (Sequent glitter shirt + Short Haircut= a small WTF from me), but he sems to be in shape, and as charasmatic as ever. Hopefully he can "save us" from the recent crappy WWE programming. Atomic Religione (talk) 23:49, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

I'll watch out for that Vampire guy. Yeah, you are a "nosy-ass" Atomic. I'd personally rather not reveal my current status on this page, but we can talk through e-mail. BTW, I was at Raw the day Cena tore his pec (I guess that gives you insight about where I'm from, lol). —mikedk9109 23:38, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

Spoilers compromise

Hi Hybrid,
Well I think it's the second time I've arrived just as you went inactive. Anyway, you say you're reading.
I think I mentioned part of a compromise idea the last time the spoilers issue came up. Now I have a much clearer sense that there are two problems: (1) pre-broadcast spoilers which can simply be deleted, and (2) post-foreign-broadcast spoilers which have to be accepted as official at WP, but emphatically annoy USA fans. Ok, the RFC outcome was they can't be embargoed by time, but maybe they can be separated by article space.
Take a look at this:

Got a spoiler you're itching to enter here?
If it's been broadcast somewhere (like Australia) but not everywhere (like the USA), please enter it at the bottom in the Recent TV reports section.
READERS, IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ SPOILERS, DON'T READ THE BOTTOM SECTION, OK?
BUT, if it's a pre-broadcast spoiler, please don't enter it here at all, because it's not official, and it will be deleted as not verifiable.
Thanks for cooperating here with your fellow wrestling fans.

And also read my similar post on Justa Punk's talk page: TV wrestling spoilers compromise. Understand that this is a promotional or instruction text that may be usefully placed at the top of talk pages (if you know the wikicode to do that). It would be like an advertising billboard on each wrestling talk page to get the editors there thinking along the lines of that's what should happen, if consensus (and TPTB) will allow it. Actually getting it to happen on article pages may take a long time, and negotiating through the anti-spoiler-notice resistance.
Slow patient negotiating is probably not your long suit since you get frustrated a lot. On the other hand, something possible is better than nothing tried. As previously paraphrased from politics, negotiation is the art of the possible. (Please reply here if desired) Milo 05:31, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

It isn't so much that I get easily frustrated, as this dispute has been going on forever (longer than you even know), so my patience has long since been worn through. Nonetheless, the result is the same; you are correct in assuming that I will not be successful if the negotiations are long. However, your idea sounds like a good compromise to me. I'll contact you with some useful information through email, as I don't want to post it here. Peace, The Hybrid T/C 07:23, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

I'd like to apologize for the fake suicide note. The cops just came to my door a few minutes ago to check on me, because some editors in St. Catherines, Ontario called and expressed concerns. I was simply trying to get away from the idiot who's been stalking me all over the internet. I'm sorry. Vampire Warrior II 04:55, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

He's not hated here, well I personally don't hate him. The issue here is that Hornatman violated policy, and has done so time and time again by coming back here. He should be blocked for disrupting both Wikipedia and the PW Wikia, not because of a personal grudge. Just a reply to this -- bulletproof 3:16 06:55, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
No don't get the wrong idea. I wasn't saying you blocking Hornet in the PWwikia was because of a grudge against him. I agree the block was well justified on both sites. I was only trying to make it clear to Hornetman that him and his socks are being reported and blocked here, because of policy and nothing else. He seems to be getting it wrong…-- bulletproof 3:16 07:08, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

Dear Hybrid,

While I agree with your instincts in choosing more neutral-sounding words in the lead to Joseph McCarthy, I have also been watching the discussion—sometimes heated—pertaining to that section. There has been a lot of thought and consideration put into the words prior to your edit and I feel that they properly reflect the issues reported in the issue. So, words like "sensational" or "attacked" should normally be avoided, in McCarthy's case I can see how they apply. The cause of his death is debated, but the "generally agreed" seems to be appropriate wording.

I'm not going to revert, since I feel your edits do no harm. However, it wouldn't surprise me if more knowledgeable editors did so. Unfortunately, they often don't explain too well to new arrivals the basis for their rvs. On the other side of the coin, a new arrival could study the talk page, but they might find long discussions buried in archives and be excused from knowing the score.

Sincerely, --User:HopsonRoad 16:02, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

Newsletter interview

Do you possibly have a suggestion for a "Wikipedia" question and a "Personal" question for the interview template? The Chronic 04:02, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

Sweet. I altered the question a bit, if you wanna see. Cheers, The Chronic 04:52, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

thgt you might like to know

a template of yours, or at least frm yr userspace ended up at ani because, oddly enough, it was used by an anon. this is just fyi: tho that misuse sux i found the template itself amusing & somewhat pertinent when i think of some of the dumb things i've said on wiki in the past...   ⇒ bsnowball  07:52, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I'm somewhat responsible for the AN/I thread, however the case involves the user being impersonated and its not about the template itself. - Caribbean~H.Q. 07:57, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
I was dealing with the case but I was going to be out for a few days so I told the user that was impersonated to post what happened on AN/I where other admins were going to be able to help him if I was away, so I'm kind of responsible for the template being exposed on AN/I, we can just hope that it goes unnoticed before one of those "all work, no fun" kind of user decides to MFD it. As to the anon vandal neither me or Eddie (the user attacked) have an idea of who he is, all we know is that he is familiar with Eddie's edit patter and past conflicts. - Caribbean~H.Q. 18:45, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
I wouldn't give it much thought now, it appears the template has been ignored so far by the admins, guess they have better stuff to do or something. - Caribbean~H.Q. 00:57, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Same to you again! I've had a rough few days. Some idiot decided to hack my account, and plant retirement notices on my talkpage ([2]), and a note on WP:PW talkpage. Luckily, the account is back in my hands now though.... :) Davnel03 15:35, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

Lol! Anywa, its almost certainly blocked indef user Cowboycaleb1. I got him blocked indef several months ago after prsenting a sockpuppetry. As you may know, I moved my account from Davnel03 to D.M.N., meaning anyone could now use the username Davnel03. Caleb created a account under the username Davnel03, and went on a vandalism spree. Davnel03 (not as me; but as Caleb) was blocked indef. The userpage and user talkpage from my old name have now been deleted and salted. I'm almost certain its him. Further details if you wish to look: [3],[4],[5]. It's a pitty some people have such a sad life to hack into others accounts. Davnel03 15:51, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

oh

Kept putting off talking to me? Thanks. I don't know if I will be sticking around much longer. As you can see from my contribs, I don't edit hardly at all. This version of wiki doesn't even remotely compare to when I was around before. I guess that loooong block and wikibreak actually took actually changed me. Things aren't hardly the same, and I know pretty much no one. My old friends (except you) are all gone. All the others that I associated with either no longer like me, or are gone too. So, I guess I will consider this for a while. —.mdk. 21:22, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

Q. It has recently come to my attention that you happen to be a secret agent. Have you been sent to rid Wikipedia of a certain banned editor? What other secret agent-type activities do you participate in?

Q. How exactly does one become half human and half sea bass?

Q. What are you wearing?

Nikky took care of it while I was on vacation, is this the first IP address that he displays? I want to figure out if his address is dynamic or static. - Caribbean~H.Q. 15:29, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
The problem with range blocks is that they must be of short duration to avoid critism and the sockpuppetry must be happening very continiusly over the course of two of three days, Hornetman just edits when he is bored or something displaying not enought accounts per month, but I would try to enact one if he begins to create a lot in one day, that would be a situation that while annoying might provide long term benefit, I suspect that he must operate from at least two different ranges though. - Caribbean~H.Q. 16:01, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

RE: Sorry

That's okay. Maybe I reacted too quickly in deciding the place to post the questions. In truth, I've never really considered myself the "chief editor" of the newsletter (the only times I've said that are in sarcasm). I'm just the one who sets up the template, updates the news, notifies people to proofread, notifies Misza to deliver. If it makes you feel better, I'll stop with the references to "head editor". (and for the record about Libertarianism: you're probably a consequentialist libertarian. I "assert that all persons are the absolute owners of their lives, and should be free to do whatever they wish with their persons or property, provided they allow others the same liberty") :) The Chronic 18:58, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

Well, I somehow feel like talking all that responsibility (and burning myself out in the process). :) That said, here...

You are to modest :-) the thing is that by the time I came across you in Carlito's talk page and was able to discuss changes to the article I was about to quit on Wikipedia, I was getting tired of trying to discuss changes to articles and getting ignored and wasn't bold enough to make the big changes myself without discussion, actually being able to discuss improvements with someone was a great improvement and it fueled my interest in the project wich led me to the WikiProjects and further. - Caribbean~H.Q. 19:55, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

No problem, Hornet doesn't deserve to be mentioned anymore since he won't be allowed back ever (at least not if I have anything to do about it). You are a great editor, so I hope this retirement is about as real as on the many retirments by Sugar Ray Leonard. TJ Spyke 00:33, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Re:Retirement

Because they closed the thread, I can't answer there. After reading the last message you wrote, I understood completely. I'm sorry about me misunderstanding things, but you can't blame me because your comments were so brief they could have been taken either way. I see that you are actively editing again, so I hope you don't give me a cold shoulder because of the discussion. I was just trying to understand, and thanks because you helped me with that. Cheers, Lex T/C Guest Book 21:04, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

In the comment on Lex's page, you notes that I tried to attack you? When was this? I don't remember attacking you, and if I did, I sincerely apologize. iMatthew 2008 22:12, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
At where did I make that comment? iMatthew 2008 23:26, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
It is absolutely no problem. I was simply confused, as I would never make a negative comment about you. I'm glad it was cleared up! iMatthew 2008 23:33, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
Thanks Hyb! And this lier is not bulletproof is it? I hope not. Anyway, it's no problem like I said. I just was confused. =] iMatthew 2008 01:08, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
If you'd like his e-mail address. Check out the screen print of the e-mail conversation between hornet and bulletproof. You can view his e-mail address there. Also, I think that it's best you don't retire now as the project needs you. iMatthew 2008 01:40, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

I wrote the comment "which is not true, and many would agree" stating that you hadn't retired. However, like I said before, it was a clear misunderstanding and I hoped [and hope] you forgive me. I wrote that regarding WP:PW being reliant on one user, "which is not true, and many would agree". It was nothing against you Hybrid. Hope we have peace now. RE: Rollback

Done. Use it wisely. :) Nikki311 05:21, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

No complaints here. Life is good, school is good, and work is good. Thankfully nobody has been aiming too hard for my admin target yet. Well, that's not exactly true. I have received some wonderfully nasty e-mails from a couple of people who were mad because I deleted their article (because of an expired prod). I also have a lot more action on my talk page. Other than that, not too much is different really. How is life treating you? I haven't heard from you in awhile and have only seen a few of your random edits lately. Nikki311 05:30, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

Sounds bad. I, in fact, do love those psychological drugs. I take Cymbalta myself, which is for depression and anxiety, so I definitely know where you are coming from. I have to ask though, was it at least a fun drugged up haze? Schizophrenia and Bi-polar disorder meds don't mess around. Nikki311 05:39, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

Hey Nikki and Hybrid, i'm in the club too. I've been on Celexa for depression since 2000, check the bottom of my talk page for info about that fun-ness that I shared with Hybrid yesterday! I'm just poking around from computer at the desk of the teacher I am subbing for today ..a 7th-8th grade keyboarding class ..fun stuff! Unfortunately I went to the wrong school this morning and was running late getting to the one I was supposed to be at and ended up getting a speeding ticket in a school zone. That can't be good. Money is pretty tight right now and that is the last thing I needed, although it is my own stupid fault. I don't think they go easy on school zone speeders, at least not $-wise with the tickets...as they should, but ..well, just not what I needed right now :( Hope you are both doing well today :) --Naha|(talk) 16:44, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

I'm done for the night, but it was really nice hearing from you, and I'm glad you're back to your old cheerful self now. Later. Nikki311 05:51, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

User Page: DeKnikker

Hello, I have recieved a phone call from a very close friend of mine and told me that a false Wikipedia user page was created under his name, and whoever made it had posted rude and racial remarks on other articles, including the DeKnikker User page itself with lude remarks and other vandalism. What is more interesting about the article edits posted in the Contributions is the fact that all the edits show suspicious remarks from other people at the high school that we go to. It is his request as is mine that we find the IP address of the computer that made the false account, added inappropriate remarks, and vandalized a number of pages. Then we can proceed to article deletion. But it is his request that we pinpoint the culprit first. I would like to thank those of whom support us on this problem. Quite a long explanation, but I think I got it. I'm just glad you're back here full time, and not retiring. To tell you the truth, I never really thought about becoming Bureaucrat, but now that you mention it, I would love to become one someday. --LAX 22:42, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

Response

That last edit was probably just a sockpuppeter with a grudge trying to bother people around, anyways I blocked and asked for a checkuser because his edit pattern is quite familiar. As far as politics go it has been like that for a while, my experience with such debates haven't been productive and they usually end with two opposing sides trying to push towards their pov, wich is pretty much pointless, cheers. - Caribbean~H.Q. 23:40, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Sexy

Can I ad you to my Wiki freinds? if so will you write your name on it please thanks. And Can I PLEASE be sexy!!!!!????? I even have a name "SexySeaTrout" it's a work in progress or "SexySteelerfan" What do You think? Steelerfan-94 00:41, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

Summoner's Guild

To answer your question, it's pretty much similar to Ryulong's Penguin Cabal. Just a friendly little "club" that hopefully a fair number of Wikipedians join. To get the guild started, I've started "forcefully enlisting" a few people who I feel are prominent Wikipedians, and hopefully it will cause others to check out, and maybe even join ^_^; (Message pretty much quoted from here. I guess. I was sort of confused on the box she left on my page. Oh well. Another club Hey, do you think I would make a good Admin.? Cheers Sexy... Bass. ;) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 01:55, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks Bass, I really appreciate your feedback. Right now, I'm waiting for the 10,000 edit mark, before any RFA takes place. But, it would be cool to be endorsed by you. ;) But, do you think that my past my haunt me? Since, I was blocked like three times for uploading WWE images. Oh, I respect you as an editor, as for the other stuff, I wouldn't know what to do about that. But, the whole Hornetman situation really did seem to piss off everyone at PW including you, and I don't blame you. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 03:49, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
I do regret doing the stuff I did, and if I can take it back, I would. But, your right, if I admit my past actions and apologize for them, maybe I may have a shot for Adminship. Well, all I can say is that we should never, ever speak of Hornet thing again, since it costed your wiki-friendship with Rob, this is just me, but I think everybody should just move on and forget that that even happened. That's just me. Your name is still clean, you may be The Hybrid, but I'd rather know you as SexySeaBass, the cool dude from PW. If it helps, I'll be work wiki-friend. ;) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 04:18, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
Its cool, I understand. Its not my business or place to ask what happened, since it didn't involve me. But, I do have respect for you, cause your one of the cool people at PW and you like Hockey, something I enjoy playing and watching. ;) As for the RFA, I know I'm going to be "hated" on, but I don't care; if you support me, you support me, if you oppose me, you oppose me. I have changed, not to sound conceited or whatever, but I would like to be helpful and help out Wikipedia when it comes to the vandals and stuff. And, I would like to thank you for having my back. I appreciate it. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 04:39, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
Well, whoever told you you weren't cool, they don't know what the hell their talking about. ;) Don't worry, you haven't scared me off. It might take "scary" people to bring this sap down But, I'm still neutral on the Admin. thing. I'll wait to the 10,000 mark. Same here, I started playing Hockey in 4th grade and I loved it. Not to sound like a show-off, but I was the only girl to be better than the guys and I'm proud of that. I've played "street" hockey. And when I mean street, anything goes. I was once shoved to a parked car and it hurt. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 01:57, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

The Chris Beniot murder

I have been a wrestling fan since I was 8 years old. I have seen some really great matches in my day and have great respect for all of the wrestlers who entertain the fans. And when your a fan for as long as I have been you intend to know every wrestlers style.

Needless to say on that fateful Monday night when I was watching monday night raw and the announcment that Chris Beniot was dead was a shocker I have yet to get over. Whats even more shocking that the media was so quick to point this out as a roid rage killing of his wife and son and then himself.

But in the weeks to come we found out that this wasn't a roid rage incodent. They said it was because of brain damage brought on by years of concussions and injuries to the head.

But even affter all the reports and the story that he killed his wife and son and himself,I have to say that I am not convinced that this was done by Chris. And I will tell you why

1. Chris Beniot was in wrestling since he was a kid. He's wrestled all over the world. 2. Chris was so devoted to the sport that he wouldn't have traded it for any other job. 3. Chris Beniot passed his medical test in april that proves this wasn't a steroid incodent. 4. Why would Chris Beniot comit these crimes when he was supposed to win the ECW title the next night at the pay per view vengence? 5. The way the killings occured. I have a hard time believing a submission speacialist like Chris would spend 20 years wrestling and learning all these holds, would need a cord to overpower his much smaller and weaker wife. Oh and then use a chemical to overpower his much smaller son Daniel. If chris did kill his wife the kid would have heard it and ran out of the house to get help. The reports also said Chris was intoxicated with steriods and booze in his system. How does a brain damaged wrestler on steriods and booze perfectly spelled text messeges, talk on the phone without any problems to other wrestlers and freinds, and hang hinself without any problems. Translation. Theres no way a man would be psyhiclally able to do all this. He would have been passed out or staggering everywhere. His wife would have been able to easly overpower him. He wouldn't be able to set up all those steriods in the house.

So these are facts that prove Chris Beniot couldn't have done these crimes against his wife, his son and himself.

In the words of Chris Beniot. Prove me wrong —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.118.151.197 (talk) 16:58, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

Hey, I was wondering if you were going to do anything with this. It's been one and a half years and the merged page that holds it was deleted.
