Hello Sir,
While reviewing the page, I noticed that the name of the page should be "Kulldeep Sandhu"[1][2][3] instead of "Kuldeep Sandhu" as per the sources. However, when I tried to move the page, I realized that the name "Kulldeep Sandhu" is protected by an admin. Could you please assist me in resolving this issue? Garvitpandey1522 (talk) 08:31, 28 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Garvitpandey1522 I'm actually not 'sir' btw, Thanks for noticing, Try asking this at WP:TEAHOUSE. Taabii (talk) 09:23, 28 January 2025 (UTC)
Jack Mallers
[edit]Hello Taabii, you are the third Wikipedia editor committing a "vandalism" rejection of my Jack Mallers Draft. It's just really not true that this person and this article doesn't merit a Wikipedia page. It's true that most "main stream media" coverage simply mentions Mallers as he is involved with the Salvadorian Bitcoin Law. Yet this does not mean that Mallers is not the second most important persion in this historic development. Mallers is all over the financial media (mostly in video).... it's just ridiculous to reject an article about such an important person. I'm open to any suggestion for improving the article. Not to straight out vandalism. Half of Wikipedia could be rejected if this article is rejected. It just doesn't make sense. There are plenty of high quality references: NYT, Wapo, Forbes, Nasdaq, Business Week etc etc.. Please give me some suggestions for improving the article and then help me get it published. Much appreciated. Hajosmit (talk) 15:55, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Hajosmit Do you have a Conflict of interest with the draft? I can see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jack Mallers. You can not use Vandalism term when an editor rejected your draft, kindly read and understand all the terms and guidelines of Wikipedia before submitting your draft. None of the cited source are reliable that could contribute to the Notability, pls read WP:Reliable sources. When you're on Wikipedia, spend your time in understanding the guidelines, don't be too impatient. The sources are high quality according to you are not useful here. Concluding here, pls read the guidelines and then submit the Draft again and let the editors review itm I'm also pinging @Lemonaka and @Devonian Wombat to guide you on this matter, I hope they'll guide you. - Well I have asked each of the three editors including yourself to help me. We have to start from the very simple basic fact that jack Mallers deserves an article on Wikipedia given his huge role in one of the most exciting historical developments of our time: the growing acceptance of Bitcoin as the superior asset and money on this planet. From this simple observation (it's really beyond doubt) I have asked all three of you to help me get the article published. None of you have given me any substantial tips or advise. Well I like the "be patient" advise. I'm certainly patient. No hurry with anything. So please... help me get it published because it would devalue the whole Wikipedia project tremendously if people like Jack Mallers can't be found. This is a relevant alive person if ever there was one. So.... I'll be patient and wait for your suggestions. Please put 30 minutes of your time in it. See what sources you can find. And help me and Wikipedia out. Hajosmit (talk) 15:29, 1 February 2025 (UTC)

- Well, this editor is know for vandalizing articles. Really sad state of affairs Bingchungus (talk) 19:38, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
- I agree it's sad..... looks like a major bias here.... Hajosmit (talk) 15:24, 1 February 2025 (UTC)
- I'm inclined to totally reject the draft, due to persistently Notability failing. -Lemonaka 01:11, 31 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Lemonaka Thankyou for the reply. Taabii (talk) 05:01, 31 January 2025 (UTC)
Why did you move this to the mainspace? WP:NFF clearly states, "Films that have not been confirmed by reliable sources to have commenced principal photography should not have their own articles, as budget issues, scripting issues and casting issues can interfere with a project well ahead of its intended filming date". The last I heard is here, where it says filming will start "soon". But then the director is notorious for the delayed start of his films and this has already gone through delays. Kailash29792 (talk) 07:14, 1 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Kailash29792 You can move it back to the Draft, sorry for my mistake. Taabii (talk) 08:04, 1 February 2025 (UTC)
Declined speedy deletion: Draft:Connor Ellmann
[edit]Hi there, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia! I wanted to let you know that I have declined your G11 speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Connor Ellmann because it can be improved without TNTing. Oftentimes, I give more leeway to articles in the draftspace, especially when the user has taken the time to submit through AfC. New users often struggle with promotional language because so much of the language we encounter daily is biased. Part of the learning experience is learning how to write from a neutral point of view. Thanks again, and let me know if you have any follow-up questions, comments, and/or concerns. Take care, Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 17:18, 1 February 2025 (UTC)

Quick draftification
[edit]Hello again, and thank you for your help with NPP! I wanted to reach out because I noticed your recent draftication of Draft:List of accidents and incidents involving ferry flights, which occurred within 20 minutes after the article was last meaningfully edited. Per NPPHOUR, articles shouldn't be draftified if they are actively being edited. In practice, this means articles shouldn't be draftified if they have been meaningfully edited.
I understand and sympathize with wanting unsourced articles moved out of main space, but we also need to recognize that it can come across as bitey to draftify an article too quickly -- especially considering that articles in mainspace do not need to be complete, and editors are allowed to develop articles in the mainspace.
I hope this makes sense. Thank you again for all your help with NPP. It's definitely appreciated! Take care, Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 05:41, 6 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Significa liberdade I will keep in mind. Taabii (talk) 05:43, 6 February 2025 (UTC)

Swami Medhananda
[edit]Dear Taabii, You tagged the article, Swami Medhananda for being an Orphan and Notability. The problem was created because the Swami has written books and articles under three names - Ayon Roy, his pre-monastic name, Ayon Maharaj, his monastic nick name, and Swami Medhananda, after taking his final vows. I have gone to the various articles that mentions those names and created wiki links to Swami Medhananda page. I removed the orphan notice, but I think the Notability notice is no longer applicable. I've just started listing the Jstor references on his aticles. Thank you. Ellis408 (talk) 08:48, 16 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Ellis408 Kindly fix the sources cited, if you're having any problem pls read Wikipedia:Citing sources for a better understanding. Also see, Wikipedia:Reliable sources, and then the Notability tag can be removed. Taabii (talk) 09:17, 16 February 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Taabii, Thank you for the feedback. Most of the references in the article are from Jstor, and there are dozens more to add, now that I'm searching for all three names that he used in his books and articles: Ayon Roy, Ayon Maharaj, and Swami Medhananda. I've copied the Jstor Cite results (using the MLA format), i.e.
- ROY, AYON. “From Deconstruction to Decreation: Wallace Stevens’ Notes Toward a Poetics of Nobility.” The Wallace Stevens Journal, vol. 29, no. 2, 2005, pp. 249–62. JSTOR, http://www.jstor.org/stable/44884960. Accessed 17 Feb. 2025.
- And then simply added the ref and /ref marks at the beginning and end. Is there a better or more proper way to reference the article? Before I added anymore, I thought I'd check. Best, Ellis408 (talk) 07:53, 17 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Ellis408 I tried to fix the page, did something. You pls follow it. Don't just copy and paste, use Template:Cite journal, Template:Cite website, Template:Cite thesis and Template:Cite news. Taabii (talk) 09:44, 17 February 2025 (UTC)
