AfC notification: Draft:A Place Under the Sun (2024 film) has a new comment

[edit]
I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:A Place Under the Sun (2024 film). Thanks! Theroadislong (talk) 19:01, 5 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Quite a few improvements I guess since the last one. The movie is now available on Amazon Prime and other streaming platforms as well. There are also quite a bit of reviews from Nepali critics available for the movie linked in website. They also held a premiere of the movie, attended by nepali filmmakers and critics, which is also linked in the article. Taramayatamang (talk) 16:22, 6 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Jason Lopchan. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. Hello Taramayatamang. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Taramayatamang. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Taramayatamang|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Bobby Cohn (talk) 23:55, 24 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No i am not neither paid nor affiliated with them. I am nepali cinephile and came across their work and loved it. Taramayatamang (talk) 05:33, 25 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yet you are claiming the promo poster as your own work?
Also, how did you come to take those photos, if you have no involvement with the production? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:29, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I had downloaded it from their site and uploaded it. I have now changed it and uploaded it through commons as their work sir. Taramayatamang (talk) 08:36, 6 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
